Alcott Flexi Alcott Mariner Adventure Pet Leash, Medium, Blue

In the past I have been using Alcott dog collars for years. I found one in a store many, many years ago because I really liked this color. It turned out to be an excellent purchase. I owned several of these collars as I have owned several dogs. I have never had to replace any of them because they became worn out. All stitching has always remained intact, and there has been no any type fraying anywhere on any of the collars. The only reason why I have purchased additional ones or replacements, is because my dogs get dirty while playing in the yard. My dogs get lots of mud on the collars, and seem to pick up dirt when we go for walks in the woods. Using Tide powder detergent with cold, or room temperature water cleans these up nicely. They will look like new again. After a few years of repetitive washing, I decided to replace a teal colored one because I thought it looked better, definitely not because they are worn out. I believe I will get the same with these leashes. And these are very, very comfortable in the hand.

Lovely lead that coordinates perfectly with my dog's collar and with his harness. Very strong and solid, and has a cushioned hand hold for comfort. Only "little" request -- I wish it were a bit longer.

As described

I like this leash. The padding on the handle is better than that on many others I've used. It has a nice hasp and the material has a quality feel to it. The reflective striping comes off and is why I only gave it 4 stars. If not for that It would get five.

As a leash in general, it's great. The padded handle is comfortable and is seems well-made. However, the reflective tape has almost completely fallen off after less than a week of use, rendering the 'safe use at night' feature useless. I noticed on the Alcott website that this same leash has reflective stitching instead of tape, so I would go for that if you want the Alcott brand!
