I have never left a review before. I’ve never preordered a book before. I did this time at the request of my 8 year old who has literally been counting down the days to it’s publication. She was thrilled when it arrived this evening and all I’ve heard since have been squeals of delight at plot turns and beloved characters brought back to life. She hasn’t finished it yet - I had to wrestle it from her at bedtime, but I have no doubt she’ll be straight back to it in the morning. Cressida Cowell has undoubtedly brought some magic and wonder into her life!

10 Year old son just can't wait for each book in this series, he is excited when they are published, jumping around when it arrives and reads it without pause before settling down to wait for the next one. In a world where it is so hard to get kids to read what more can you ask for! I Should add we went for the signed copy--it arrived a day earlier than stated and the `Love Cressida Cowell' signed inside made it a double delight for him--worth the extra £2!

Read this to my 2 kids aged 6 + 8.Just another brilliant book series written by a very talented author , who takes these reader through lots of twists and turns. This is the last book in the series, so don't forget to read the other 3!Enjoy.

My kids will never know how good this book was...because•We ordered in May 2020•Moved house in March 2021 and updated our details with Amazon who neither bothered to apply it to outstanding orders or give us the option to•The Item claimed to be delivered in May 2021 (by which time we had forgotten all about it)•Because of the above failure, Amazon delivered it to somebody at our old address•But know, that when I called for a refund I was given the sage advice by Amazon that "You should have updated your address before your ordered the item"PS - Amazon told me, even if there was an option to assign address changes to specific orders, the fact that there was a 9 month lull between order and delivery of this item it wouldn't have been possible through any channel! Speechless!!

Fourth book in the series, my son was so excited to receive it! He is not an avid reader but adores this series.
