Brightness is enough very handy and useful for outdoor camping go for it

The light is hurting the eye, though it is weak, barely enough for car interior

It's lights everything but below it.... Not at all what a lantern should do.

I bought two, and one won't turn off when I collapse the lantern. I had to turn the battery round the other way to turn it off. Being a camping item, I tested it when it arrived and it worked and it stopped working on the first use away.....4 days after the 30 day Amazon returns. This would not happen with a reputable Australian retailer, who would recognise it as a common product fault. How do I have my faulty light replaced under warranty, the fault appeared the first time i used it

I have shopped Amazon for over 10 years and have never taken the time to respond on a products positive/negative aspects. Until now. The Etekcity lantern is a superior product and at a low price. I was hunting for household flashlights for usage during an electrical outage and found this item during that search. I wanted something using double A batteries as all the flashlights are and something that could sit on a shelf without looking like a lantern, and then work when needed. The 360 degree LED light comes on when you pull it out of the canister and the amount of light can be regulated by how far it is pulled out. Quality material and good looking - and works. Price was very impressive also.

Par de linternas para camping. Pequeña, ligeras, muy prácticas, buena luz. Usa baterías normales
