I have given this to my daughter on her 9th birthday, and she loves it. She is an artist and has been using acrylic paint sets for the last 4 years. This art pack made her day, and she is now trying all type of arts with multiple combinations.

Bought this as a present for my niece and she was absolutely delighted with it. She especially loved the variety in the set, not just the different pencils and colours but also the different types of paper included. It looks really nice and well presented which makes it a great gift. For the price you get a lot in the set so it feels like very good value. I have not used it myself as she does not live nearby, but from what I saw it looked great and she was very excited to start drawing straight away. A lovely gift for anyone who enjoys art. Great size too.

We spent several afternoons testing the oil pastels and the colored pencils. The pastels are surprisingly smooth and vibrant on paper. The colored pencils are hard enough to sharpen without breaking but soft enough to blend reasonably well. The watercolor cakes are a bit pale and require a lot of water to get good color payoff.
