Sturdy & Easy to Use
This was easy to install and worked well with the desk mounted computer arm I have. Nice and tight, the monitor is secure.

Good idea, bad production. Adapters don't lock into place. Very loosely connected. High risk.
Very disappointed when I found out my Dell S2319 didn't have the Vesa mount holes needed to connect to a dual monitor stand. Looked around for anything that'd allow me to mount without having to sell and purchase new monitors. Saw that HumanCentric did make adapters which slot into the compartment of the monitor where the stand usually locks in. Did seem very pricy for a sheet of metal at first, at around ยฃ30 (cost more than my dual monitor stand), However I bought two of them. One on Amazon and one on eBay as used. Very disappointed to find that the the adapters don't actually lock into the compartment. Rather than just sit there. The actual stand provided by Dell, locks into place and to remove it a pin has to press a small button to release the stand. I have been able to mount both monitors, however they're very loosely connected to the stands. Any movement on table causes them to shake quite a bit. Not really happy, will probably have to eventually sell both monitors and buy new vesa approved ones.

Great Adapter! Works Great Even for Vertical or Portrait Positioned Dual Monitor Stands
This worked great! I have a Dell S2719DM monitor. It has two little screws holding the current stand to the monitor (see attached photo). I was afraid the adapter wouldn't be strong enough to turn the monitor vertically on its side (portrait aspect ratio), but it was perfectly strong and without any give, bending, or shaking. The only part that was tough was pressing down the adapter on the back of the monitor to get the two screw holes in the adapter to line up with the screw holes of the stand joint on the back of the monitor. I was afraid of pushing down too hard and breaking the screen. But that didn't happen. It would be easier if you removed the rubber strips from the adapter that protect the back of the monitor from being scratched by the bracket. Pressing down is really only making up for that thickness. You could add soft velcro strips or two strips of duct tape between where the adapter edges touch the monitor. They MAY avoid scratches and then you'd just need GooGone to remove the stickiness. But I was ok pressing down to line up the holes. The adapter comes with four VESA screws that seem small, but they worked very well for my control arms and lines up easily. They are only slightly bigger than the monitor stand screws, so they are quite capable of supporting the monitor weight. You will still need the two screws that came with the monitor stand to connect the adapter to the monitor. That's also great because then you don't lose them if you plan to sell the monitor later with it's original stand. I am very thankful someone created this adapter! I was able to get a great looking monitor and use it in a way Dell didn't plan for us ergonomic correct users. :) Really happy with this!
