What is the difference between the Original and the hand and. body?

The original has a thicker consistency and from my experience works better for dry skin, eczema in my case. It is a little harder to wash off though, similar to petroleum jelly. The hand and body still works but is not as effective. It has a consistency that's more like whipped butter, almost like it has air bubbles in it.

My original bag balm has antiseptic labeled on the lid. Is this the same stuff?

Antiseptic is 8-Hydroxy Quinoline Sulfate 0.3%. Should be listed on the side of the can with the other ingredients.

Can you use this for lipgloss

I did not know the answer and so I goggled it and this is the response: (btw I use it only on my feet to keep the rough parts of my heels smoother!) Is Bag Balm safe to use on lips? This tin in particular does not. The 4oz tin of Bag Balm does say "Since 1899", however.

Worked like a charm!

I’m 71 y/o. I remember seeing this stuff in my great aunt and uncle’s dairy barn when I was about 4. It seems like the can was red and yellow back then. Now I’m using it on my golden doodle’s rough paws. Talk about a tried and true product!

Excellent for paw pads and doggy elbows

We've been using bag balm for decades but this is the first time the purchase was specifically for this guy's dry, cracked paw pads and elbows. It made a huge difference! He doesn't like the taste, so he won't lick it off. He is dramatic about having it put on, BUT he also knows and will go nudge it if he needs it. Dogs I tell you what.
