Seems okay. I have no way to test for purity, but the USP certificate gives me confidence. Docked one star for the poorly fitting lid that leaked all over the floor after I stored it on it's side. Yes the lid was tightly closed and the tamper seal remnants were removed completely.

I was noticing my cigars were a little firmer than i had wanted when just using tap water in the gel bead holder that was in my humidor. I decided i would try to make my own juice instead of buying premade since its just 50/50 Propylene Glycol and distilled water. I filled a water bottle half way with distilled water, and topped it off with propylene glycol. I gave it a bit of a swirl with the lid on and was a little shocked that the bottle was getting warm. "Shit, what am i gonna do now". Maybe there was a reaction with something in the water bottle, naw it was a fresh water bottle that i just drank. I was worried that this sucker was gonna pop (was warm not hot), so i put it in the sink and left the lid off. i couldn't find anything online about PG reacting with distilled water, so i did what any 30-something year old would do and asked on Reddit's chemistry page. It turns out what happened is "Heat of solvation, it's a very common effect". So the next morning nothing was melted, and no geyser of water had hit the ceiling like Old Faithful. I added it to my humidor container and checked it a week or so later and my sticks are the perfect firmness now.
