Really glad that Amazon has the option to purchase "used" books. Got mine in perfect condition and there's no tear or folds in. Got it for 158 Rupees and no delivery fee. It smelled a little funky in the beginning but I kept the book outside to air for a while and it's okay now :). Havnt read it yet, will update once I do.

シングルマザーの不安や日々の葛藤が描かれていて(私自身シングルマザーだったので）感情移入して読んでしまいました。世界中のシングルマザーにEdのような男性が現れてくれたら良いのにと思う楽しい結末です。

I've started with my love affair with Jojo Moyes' books when I've read Me before you. After that book, I have devoured any book that she has authored and most of them I have loved. This book is really heartwarming and a page turner. I finished this book in a couple of hours, not able to put it down coz every time I tried to, I can't wait to know what happens next so I kept going. I love Jojo Moyes' style of writing. Precise, detailed enough but not overly so. She has a way of painting a picture that allows the readers to really experience what is happening with the characters. She has a talent of touching the right emotions at the perfect time so the reader is really engrossed with the book and can really relate with the characters. I can't wait to read more of her and this one goes down in my list as one memorable read.

Jojo Moyes nelle note di fine libro si definisce una "storyteller" ed in effetti è una grande "racconta-storie".Trovo anche che la definizione di "romanzo rosa" sia assolutamente riduttiva e non adeguata e che sia molto più appropriato parlare (semplicemente) di romanzo, un ottimo romanzo!E' il secondo libro di Jojo che leggo ed anche questa volta mi ha impressionato la sua capacità di coinvolgere il lettore su storie tutto sommato semplici, attraverso un ottimale "ritmo" di narrazione e un linguaggio chiaro e semplice, ma mai banale.
