Nutricost N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) 600mg, 180 Capsules

I'll start off by saying these are my results and I'm not a doctor but I did listen to one. his name was Dr Berg. if you're having trouble with your liver values or have a fatty liver this supplement is a precursor to the substance needed to help your liver repair. this is why I took it. my liver enzymes after taking it in my lab values are 100% perfect therefore the effectiveness of this medicine is with out question, Priceless to me. I had no troubles with it being digested. as for sleep I realize some of you might be taking this for sleep I had no trouble with sleep prior but it didn't affect my sleep quality. with that being said I honestly think you should give this a try if you're having trouble with the fatty liver. your liver can repair itself. I combined this with milk thistle, super beats the drink you can buy here, and a supplement called tudca. I also eat a lot of avocados and eggs (choline) all of these helped me with my fatty liver. these were my results and what i did.

I started taking this for IBS and Endometriosis-like symptoms. I think it definitely helps keep things moving, but be careful how much you take! I did one per day and was fine for a bit, but then started having full body itchiness/tingles, and my colon started producing way too much mucus. I’m now taking twice a week and it’s great. Just start with a small dose!

THIS ABSOLUTELY HELPED reduce inflammation and mucus. Noticed I didn’t wake up coughing up phlegm after taking it for some time. You will absolutely cough up everything that isn’t supposed to be there, but then comes clear breathing and better sleep.

09/01/26 Edited to change to 5 stars, and do a rewrite. My previous review is under this. I'm not sure why I gave 4 stars before, probably because it seemed NACET was better because it's claimed to be assimilated better. Because of that, the dose was only 100mg vs. this 600mg. BUT, after using 2 capsules of this for two months, then 2 capsules of the green label NACET for 2 months, then 1 month of the Nutri brand NACET, I will be going back to NAC. I think my sore neck felt better on it. One thing to note is that NAC works better with Glycine taken at the same time (See the story mentioned in one or both of my NACET reviews). And while NAC is a powerful antioxidant, taking another antioxidant at the same time is recommended. Both of the NACET products mentioned, contain Selenium for that reason. I will be taking the 1200mg NAC that I did before. Plus 2000mg Glycine that I am taking now. I'll take selenium too. Be aware that too much Selenium is toxic. My previous review: I have since totally replaced these NAC with the NACET I mentioned. The NACET dose is one 100mg caplet. And it contains glycine and molybdenum and something else. But after 30 days I am now starting two caplets, because my sore neck that went away under 1200mg of this NAC, has returned. So it looks like the 600mg of these equals 100mg of the NACET, and either way I need 2 doses daily. I just thought I'd share that. My first comment, with slight addition: The problem with NAC is that only a percentage what is taken is actually absorbed and used by the body. I had been taking 2 of these daily. 1200mg is a commonly recommended dose that some people think everyone should take. I've since learned about NACET, a more bioavailable form that requires less be taken. I've chosen to add the NACET and lower the NAC dose to 600mg a day. 1 caplet of each. I'm about 2/3 of the way through this bottle and I seem to feel better overall, but I can't attribute that to one single supplement.
