I bought these as teaching aids to help my kids learn about different animals around the world. Concepts are so much easier for them to grasp if they can hold and play with the animals they're leaning about, rather than just reading about them in a book. The animals are well crafted, the pieces have been nicely painted and they're fairly detailed which helps them look more realistic - the snake has scales, the birds have feathers, and the armadillo has plates of armor. They also have their names on the underside in case you need help identifying what they are. Most of the pieces in this set stand up on their own fairly well, although some are a little wobbly. The only thing I find a little cumbersome is the tube itself. While it's great for storing, it's compact size and odd shape makes it difficult to get the animals in and out - the rope handle also seems to get in the way. Other than the somewhat troublesome tube, the animals in this set are great and I will definitely be buying more of these collections.

Worked perfect for my daughter’s project. Very good quality toys.

Used for a desert scene for a kindergarten project. They were exactly what I was looking for and the perfect size. My daughter learned the animal names and about their habitat. They come in a reusable storage tube. Looked just like the picture. They were well-painted and pretty detailed little animals. I bought it because we especially needed the cactus, but ended up using them all in her diorama!

This tube of animals worked great for a diorama project of a desert habitat ☺️ my son plays with the extras with his Legos and he loves them. They seem durable and fun ☺️

Great experience, would buy again

The Toob I received was not like the one shown. It had an orange top, instead of the blue globe on top. Instead of 12 "hand painted" items the Toob only had 11 and on the sticker on the Toob, also said 11, not 12 items were included, as the description. The hand painting on my animals are sad. There is no variation of colors like the ones shown here. for example, my coyote is one color...a sad sand color (just like the praire dog, horned toad and big ram). Not Great.
