What size button hole will these fit in?

Good morning, the size of the button is about 10mm and due to the quality of this cufflink is silk soff knot ,we think most of the hole can fit this cufflink in.

Are these actually silk? Or made from silk like material?

I really can't tell, but they are very well made. I'm very pleased with this set and I'm ordering another set or two.

If the shirt is new, you may have to open up the button hole. Pull a pen o through the hole and the knots will then fit right
