As a mechanical keyboard this has everything that I need. The red switches feel amazing and I've had no issues with typing or gaming with the keyboard so far. I can't tell the difference between the Ajazz switches and ones made by Cherry. One minor detail I was pleasantly surprised with was how quiet the space bar was straight out of the box. It has some grease in the stabilizer which makes it less noisy. Compared to a Logitech G610 keyboard which had no grease at all(making it terribly loud), it really adds even more value to the Ajazz which is a steal at this price point anyways. I also added rubber dampeners to the keycaps which made the keyboard feel even better. One important thing to note about this particular model is that the key layout is actually different than in the product picture, which is a really important thing to some of us. The layout in the product image is ANSI and the actual layout is ISO. Compared to the ANSI layout the ISO has a two row high and one row wide enter key and a one row wide left shift key. This adds a symbol key next to the Z key and the symbols keys are arranged a bit differently around the enter. The ISO layout is usually harder to find on these cheaper keyboards, so anyone who is specifically interested in an affordable compact tenkeyless keyboard with the ISO layout, this is a very nice option. Of course, not everything is perfect with this keyboard, so I'll list here all the negatives. Most of the bad things are visual and have nothing to do with the functionality of the keyboard, so anyone who doesn't care about the looks and just wants a functional keyboard, no need to read further. The first negative can somewhat affect the usability of the keyboard, but not in a significant way. What I'm talking about is the software that you can download from the Ajazz website. With it you can adjust the keyboards polling rate, change the lighting modes and colors and record custom macros. The software is really buggy and some of the features like for example the custom profiles, don't even work. I have no way of testing if the polling rate actually affects anything, but from what I've read it makes hardly any difference anyways, so I wouldn't recommend anyone to even bother installing the software. The lighting modes can be adjusted straight from the keyboard with the function keys so you don't even need the software for that. I didn't test the macro feature because I have no use for it, so I'm not sure if it is functional or not. Like I said, you don't really need the software to get the most out of this keyboard. While the LED's might be RGB you can't really adjust the colors freely. There are something like ten predefined colors programmed into the keyboards memory and you can cycle between them. I think the colors include red, green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, pink, cyan and a really terrible white that is a little bit too pink to actually call real white. There is no way to adjust the individual amount of each of the three main colors of the LED's. A function that would've been fantastic, but might be impossible to achieve without adding too much extra cost. Even though there's a software option to choose any color from a color wheel, it does not actually adjust the color. Even manually typing a value of pure red for example, might actually make the LED's go blue instead. I found out that you can cycle through the predefined colors by choosing only the red value from zero to ten. After ten, the colors just cycle over in the same order. Adjusting green or blue does nothing, because this keyboard does not have proper RGB controller logic programmed into it. Also if you try to adjust the colors of the individual keys, you'll quickly realize that since this keyboards ISO layout does not match the keyboard pictured in the software, you can't adjust the keys that are missing from the ANSI layout. I'm not sure if it's caused by the keycaps or the actual LED's, but if you choose a mix of multiple colors and look at the keys while moving your eyes rapidly you can actually individually distinguish the different colors. If you ask me, this effect looks really irritating, which is why I only use either red, green or blue backlight modes. I have no experience with high end RGB keyboards so I don't know if this is a problem with them as well. If not, the RGB feature on this particular keyboard is not really that impressive, so if that matters to you, look elsewhere. If however it's mainly caused by the keycaps and the way the light shines through them, you might be able fix this issue. That brings me to the keycaps which might have a slight problem if you ever need to replace them. I'm not an expert on keycaps, but I think you could technically replace the default caps with anything Cherry compatible caps, as the switches are just copies of real Cherry switches. However, the escape, delete, right shift and arrow keys are to my understanding custom sized, so finding similar replacement caps for those might be difficult. I tried switching them for default sized caps, but the way the actual switches are aligned, it made the keyboard look a bit wonky. I haven't really tried finding similar sized caps online, which there might be, which would make this issue non existent. Just do your research if you're planning on getting replacement caps. The finishing on the aluminium plate was a bit rough on the edges. There was no sharp edges or anything like that, just a bit of slag left over from when it was milled. I fixed this issue by removing the housing and carefully hand filing the edges to a nice shine that better matches the chamfer on the top edge. Suffice to say this has nothing to do with the functionality and some might not even notice it, but it is very easy to fix. While I had the housing removed I had a look at the PCB and while I was not shocked to find some messy soldering, it is a good place to start looking if you ever have issues with the keyboard. As messy as the PCB looks, I've yet had any problems with the keyboard, so I wouldn't be that concerned with the quality of the soldering. Overall this keyboard is hard to beat at this price if the only thing you really care about is the functionality. If you want a stunningly beautiful RGB mechanical tenkeyless keyboard, look elsewhere and be prepared to pay top dollar for that. + The red switches feel great and are practically indistinguishable from real Cherry switches. + The space bar is quiet due to the grease added to the stabilizer. + The ISO layout is hard to find with cheaper keyboards, but this one has it. + Typing and gaming feels amazing if you prefer linear switches that are easy to actuate. + The tenkeyless layout makes this keyboard very compact, which leaves room for a bigger mouse mat. + Has some media keys that can be accessed with the function key. + No software required to adjust LED colors and effects. + Keycaps can be swapped with any Cherry compatible caps + Incredibly affordable for a mechanical keyboard. - The optional software is buggy and almost unusable with some of the functions not working at all. - No real RGB color adjustment, just about ten predefined colors. - Mixed colors might be irritating to look at which might just be caused by the original keycaps - No pure white color option. - Some keycaps are custom sized so finding replacements might be difficult. - Slight roughness on the finishing due to cost saving. Easy to fix. - Messy soldering which might cause problems if you're really unlucky. Highly unlikely that it will though.

I cannot tell this keyboard is significantly shorter than my full sized. I have big hands and this keyboard feels great. The switches are crisp and the key presses feel purposeful. The layout of the keys may take some getting used to but I find the large delete and escape keys enjoyable and the arrow keys can be manipulated with my pinky from the home row. The function key placement is a little strange but as often as I use that key and its locality to the function keys makes sense and I expect to adjust and enjoy this feature as well. The backlight is strong but tuneable. This keyboard fits in an Amazon Basics laptop bag that I carry my Chromebook inside. This is the price and quality all mechanical keyboards should aim for. There are markings on the j and f keys which are not visible in the images but allow for touch typing. If you read this comment this far just buy it. Update: this is the perfect keyboard if you want to program as a touch typist as fast as possible. I can speed type while programming (including special characters and symbols) in Dvorak keyboard layout, not having to move to a numpad and being able to reach every key from the home row is what makes this possible. The tactile and clicky feedback also help to memorize the keyboard and flow when typing.

This keyboard is an absolutely deal! It is very satisfying, and i can play every game under the sun extremely comfortably. 100% worth it. I have ZERO problems with this keyboard. When I first bought it, I was thinking that this would be a below average keyboard. But to my surprise, this thing is an absolute beast. It is definitely one of the most dominate 75% keyboards that I have tried, and it really set the stage for other competitors. Everything about this is great. The price was fantastic, the shipping time was unbelievable, and I am super happy with this product. As far as recommendations for changes, I have none. The hardware and build quality are superb. However, If I could add one thing to the keyboard, it would be more lighting options. But this doesn't change that fact that I am in love with this. Keep it up!!
