Do i need a bracket to attach the speedlight?

Yes. However, most speedlights come with a foot and if you flip over the foot many have a 1/4" thread. If you have this foot, then you can thread the foot atop this stand and you will not need to buy any additional brackets.

Is this stand compatible with the godox led 64?

Yes, I would recommend getting a coldshone to light stand adapter for the extra support if it falls. If that is not in your budget it does have the screw at the top that will fit in the bottom of the light.
