**Q: Hi.  I'm looking for a 5000 capsule, this is 10,000.  Can this capsule be SPLIT?  Or is it liquid?  Thanks.**
A: Technically yes, it could be split with a bit of effort - e.g., you could pierce one tip with a sterilized needle and squeeze out half of the oil into an empty capsule (NOW foods also makes some empty capsules which are available on Amazon) to take later, then take the half-drained capsule as your dose that day. I have successfully done this myself. However, it would probably be simpler to look for pills that are already at the dosage of 5000 IU that you're looking for, assuming you can find one that meets your specifications.
