Excellent quality! :)
This was the first matcha I tried and it was VERY smooth and delicious :) But, I really just like making lattes with the powder and since I'm not Bill Gates I figured I'd try a less expensive one going forward. So, I'm now buying the Jade Leaf brand which is great for my daily (sometimes multiple times a day) lattes and frappes :) :) When I win the lottery, I'll spring for this one again :D

Pretty smooth with very littler bitterness.
Not a bad option I’d you’re looking for an above average matcha. It mixes nicely and doesn’t take long to get a nice texture. So far I’ve tried Encha (my #1), this, and Matchabar (a more bitterness than the others). This is an ok price point to be at I’d like to be at a little less per ounce for the amount. It’s pretty smooth with very littler bitterness. Also has a very nice earthy taste. Took a picture of the texture and color compared to Matchabar.

This is a winner!
- The taste has a naturally sweetness to it and is not bitter- The texture is very smooth- The color is actually a vibrant spring green- Very competitively priced at $0.67 / Gram- JAS certified organicAside from those points, this matcha tastes so good to me that I don't even want to drink it as a latte these days, I like having it by itself or with a bit of raw honey. It helps keep me focused during what would be my typical afternoon slumps. With stores charging $5-6 a cup, you're much better off making your own and with higher quality matcha. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be repurchasing.

Top Notch Quality!
I've ordered many brands of matcha and this is by far my favorite one so far. You can definitely taste the quality and when it's whisked up, it tastes smooth with no bitterness at all. I've ordered this THREE times already. If you're a matcha lover and on the hunt for a new matcha, I would highly suggest this brand!

Decent but better options
Nothing wrong with this matcha, but I was a little disappointed since it was not as good as my previous matcha from Nio Teas which tasted smoother and was cheaper.UPDATE: Having sampled several other ceremonial matchas since purchasing this one, I've come to realize that this one is smooth with little to no bitterness and is a worthy purchase at its price.

Smooth Delicious Taste
I am new to matcha. I also got the whisk, whisk stand, and bowl all made in Japan. Yeah! I whisk this matcha with water heated at 185 degrees. My matcha easily comes out very frothy and stays suspended without precipitating to the bottom. The taste is very smooth and not bitter at all, and because of this, this ceremonial grade matcha should only be drank right after whisking. If you want Matcha for a flavored drink, buy culinary grade matcha. Highly recommend this matcha.

Authentic Taste
I'm a returning customer and have just received two tins - thank you! I had spent a good amount of time scouting online reviews and blogs about authentic Matcha tea. It was, thanks to a random blog of a Matcha connoisseur, that I found out about Haru Matcha. The blogger, whose name escapes me now, rated it as one of the best, with a lush peridot hue and a foamy texture. It's so good that one does not need to add anything to dilute the taste (I used to add a slice of lemon to my green and Matcha tea). It's a small tin, and may be on the pricey end, but I've paid only a tad bit less for inauthentic Matcha tea that tastes like ground grass.
