Turtle Beach - Ear Force Xbox 360 Audio Adapter Cable - Xbox 360 (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I recently moved my Xbox 360 to my office and plugged it into my desktop monitor (via HDMI splitter) and realized I wouldn't have a way to hear the 360 game audio. After googling around, I found this product. Along with an RCA splitter with a female 3.5mm jack, I am able to plug in my HyperX cloud gaming headset to my Xbox 360 and get perfect sound.

My son got the Turtle Beach Headset for Christmas, but found out he apparently needed the adapter cable so he could hear and talk to his friends on Xbox. I ordered this for him but it was not from a Prime seller. It was expected within a week, but took a few days longer. I had to email the seller and got a reply that there was some kind of delay. I can't even remember what that was. It didn't bother me much, but my son is a gamer so he couldn't wait to use his new headphones. Well he got the cable, plugged it in and is happily talking to his friends on Xbox Live. He says it works great. Now I have to put up with all the noise he makes playing his games....

I have a surround sound system I put together myself and it does not play digital. THis device made it work so i can still have high quality video o my 1080 tv through the hdmi. it worked so well my neighbors thought there was someone setting off fireworks while playing black opps because the gun shots sounded so clear and loud. Also I have not had any restetting issues so far and its been a week. THANK YOU GUYS!

I am using this RCA audio gadget to connect my old trusty XBOX 360 to my subwoofer. It worked, but I did not accounted for the HDMI - Audio synchro delay lag. As I turn on the volume of my TV (which is connected to the HDMI), The music is not in sync with the subwoofer. The device works, but just my setup sucks. I need another way to get the audio out of my TV, but it does not have audio out.

It has several issues:1. It is necessary if you want to use the Turtle Beach PX22 headset. That means an extra purchase and more wait time since it is not mentioned that you need this.2. If you start the Xbox before you turn on the TV, be prepared for the xbox to then restart. Somehow this device senses the TV's on/off status and resets the xbox. Sometimes when I'm playing a gory game and kids come by, I (in the past) had turned off the TV. I learned that was a mistake with this device. I lost all my game play one too many times. Completely irritating feature.There's not much else about it that I hate because it only has one purpose but I think it was a ridiculous purchase and completely unnecessary for the purpose of using a headset.

I have turtle Beach headphones that worked on one TV, but not my new one, so for a while I wasn't using them (and driving my wife crazy with sound of the games). Now only does this allow be to use my headphone and mic again, it also allowed me to connect it to my component system so I can play with the entire stereo.... when the wife isn't home of course!I typically would buy the cheapest item I could find, however I wanted something compatible with my headset, as well as my xbox 360. Last thing I want to do is buy a knock-off that runs the other equipment. This adapter is exactly what I needed, and I am very happy with the purchase.

It does the job and I love my headset now but I went with this one because I thought if I bought a nicer product I wouldn't have problems WRONG when I turn my tv off my Xbox turns on. It is very annoying, I won't return the product but now I can use my headset

Bypassed the annoying tab, in line with the HDMI cable, analog audio output. Perfect, my system is complete. 😁🤘
