Review: Great little torch! Perfect for soldering. - Great torch, I've been using it for soldering, I like that the thumb button controls the flame, as I often have to put the torch down in between to adjust the solder etc... and i hate it when they are still burning until you switch it off which is tricky when you have hot metals and usuallyholding it in the other hand with tweezers, this one you just take your thumb off and it flame stops. No gas wasted, no burning torch next to you!!

This arrived yesterday and I have to say, pleasantly surprised by the quality, I was expecting something flimsy but this is actually a weighty item, and feels quality. Easy to operate with a single push of the thumb and highly manoeuvrable! The trigger can be locked by simply sliding the switch on the top to stop those pesky kids burning down your kitchen or melting their face off. The flame is adjustable with the 3 setting slide switch and actually does make a difference. The torch uses butane and can be bought here on desertcart or any shop that sells cigarette lighters and is filled easily on the bottom. It even includes a pack of nozzles just in case the butane can you buy doesn't have the right nozzle. So, does it work? Yes in a word or the long answer, like a dream. I immediately set to making tandoori chicken legs and delighted in burning the yogurt/spice marinade to a lovely charred finish, not only looking more authentic but just adds to the flavour. I would have posted a pic but was to busy eating it to be honest :-P Well worth the money. Recommended product!

**Q: Why have Parts fell out rendering my torch useless. Hardly used it. I obviously never noticed the nozzle part fall out as it’s tiny and therefore gone**
A: This happened to me. Annoying but I managed to screw the parts back into the end of the lighter.  You need to ensure from then on that it remains screwed tightly so it doesn’t fall out again.  It should continue to work fine.

**Q: Has anyone refilled this more than twice and it still works?**
A: Yes mine been refilled at least 4 times
