Cool Living Mesh Armless Fixed Upright Adjustable Height Drafting Chair, Black

UPS smashed the hell out of the box and due to poor packing i lost a few screws. Next time the seller needs to securely tape the screw and accessory bag to the chair so screws dont fall out of the box when UPS kicks it onto my driveway. Ive owned the chair for about a year now and used it daily, like literally, i work 7 days a week. The seat is has very little cushion to it so i recommend adding one if you plan on sitting for long periods. I like that the back is meshed because i work in an non temperature regulated room so summers get hot. The chair is sturdy, nothing has broke or tore on it after a year of daily use. But i do protect the backrest with a cloth(a T shirt lol) in case the mesh gets worn out.

It's not the most comfortable chair in the world, but I can sit on a pillow if it's gonna save me a bunch of money, which this did. I have a smaller build in case you're wondering. It seems sturdy enough for me and I don't notice that it's missing the arms because arms would make it difficult to ge to get out of the chair, given the limited space I have. It worked perfectly. I wish I had just bought this in the beginning and not wasted so much time comparison shopping.

Surprisingly sturdy and well built. Very comfortable, though not the most cushioned. Very wide range of height adjustment. The adjustable footrest slips over time, but that seems to be the case with all adjustable footrests. I'd rather have to reset it once in a while than have it permanently fixed at the wrong height. Note that the specified dimensions are not the assembled dimensions, but the dimensions of the box. The chair is roughly 2ft deep, 18in wide, and adjusts the full range specified in height.

I think I'm too short for this chair. I'm 5'3". When I sit down, the foot rest/bar is too far inwards for it to actually be restful. My feet actually swell up sitting in this chair because the footrest isn't right.No matter what height I adjust it too (the footrest). The chair is easily adjustable to go down. But like most office chairs, harder going up. So when you're my height and can't put one foot on the floor (or footrest) while adjusting the chair to move up, it makes it really difficult.I basically have to have it just right or it's a hassle/potential for embarrassing fall. The footrest also moves down if too much pressure is put on it. No matter how tight I have it screwed. It just slides down slowly over the day.Good thing about this chair is the cushion is firm but soft. and the back of the chair is nice. So the sitting part is comfortable for your torso.

Update 10/4/2018:This might as well be labeled a disposable chair. After less than a year of daily use, the pneumatic adjustable piston is completely busted and leaks air. The plastic ring is cracked. Completely unusable. Contacted customer support and they did not assist me with their problem. Will have to look elsewhere for something more reliable.Original review:This chair is awesome, and the people who sell it are even awesome-er (can I say that?). I built a custom standing desk using sawhorses. The surface is about 44 inches high, and I struggled to find a chair that would do the job when I got tired of standing. This chair fits the bill perfectly. Mesh is comfortable, design is sufficiently modern, and most importantly... it's the right height. Tall!The plastic ring used to tighten the foot ring arrived cracked, and when I notified the seller, they immediately sent me a replacement, free of charge. If only every seller was responsive like this.

easy to setup, although I wish the directions had a little more info. Very comfy. I had an older coworker who tried to sit on the chair and didn't work out so well for him. the chair goes up and down the tiniest bit when sitting and getting up. This seemed to be an issue for him. overall it was a great purchase for the price.

Chair is overall pretty good. Missing 1 star because a screw was missing in assembly. When I'm sitting on the chair, the actual seat height maximum is about 32." It compresses a few inches when you sit on it so it's shy of the advertised 35" height when actually using it. Otherwise, it seems good. Easy to put together.

Perfect for my stand up desk, but it slowly lowers as you sit in it for 7 hours at a time. I am a grad student, and spend a lot of time at my desk at a time. But it is really comfortable and actually better than I expected for the price. I'm glad I bought it.
