Andalou Naturals Brightening Meyer Lemon + Vitamin C Creamy Cleanser (6 oz)

This is my go-to face cleanser. I first purchased this a few years ago at Whole Foods. Now, I see it's sold here on Amazon which I love because I can just order it and have it next day. This cleanser is very good for the skin with Vitamin C and Lemon. It gently cleans the face without irritation and has a really nice lemony smell to it. It also does not leave a residue which I really like. I do not have any problems with break outs either which is another plus. One bottle can last a few months for me. I have combination skin so I feel this would be good for any skin type.

This 'Creamy' cleanser is indeed very creamy... soooo rich. I have very, very sensitive skin and the majority of cleansers and soaps on the market cause my skin to breakout. I've been using triple milled soaps for years (lavender or peppermint) to cleanse my face as they don't cause me to breakout but they aren't very moisturizing... leaving my face clean but also dry. Applying moisturizers to my face to address the dryness is a no-no as they cause instant breakouts, so again my face is clean but dry. I recently decided to try a turmeric and vitamin c clay mask to address the dryness and to diminish the appearance of pock marks in the hopes that the mask would not cause breakouts to my sensitive skin. In my search to find a cleanser enriched with vitamin c as an accompaniment to the mask, I came across the Andalou BRIGHTENING Meyer Lemon + C Creamy Cleanser. WOW, what a find!! I've been using this cleanser for two weeks (I stopped using the triple milled soap on my face) and it is a game changer for me... I can actually say that I have a skin care routine! I use the cleanser twice a day (morning and night) and I definitely see/feel the difference on my face: * The cleanser is creamy and rich * You only need a small amount * Leaves my skin soft and smooth * I've noticed that dry patches are healing * No irritation to my skin whatsoever * Nice, subtle citrus scent If you have very sensitive skin and you're looking for a cleanser that won't cause breakouts and also leaves your skin soft and smooth, you should try this.

I’ve used this for a long time and it never irritates my sensitive skin. I like that it’s effective, but gentle! It’s non-greasy, and has a light foaming quality

I'm 57 and honestly really like this cleanser. Just know, it's non-foaming and a little goes a long way, which makes this a fantastic value for the money. Though it says good for sensitive skin, I received a reaction to my eyelids and under eye. This doesn't change my opinion. I just don't use it daily and avoid my eyes. If the problem persists, Ill try different parts of my body, neck, shoulders etc. The cleanser doesn't strip your skin and feels clean after use. For now, I follow up with their Goji Peptide Perfecting Cream and they seem to compliment each other well. Id definitely seek out a serum to add to your new regimine. Once depleated, I'm really looking forward to trying other utems in the product line.

Very happy with this product. Dispenser works. Creamy and not irritating to the eyes and easily removes mascara.

It is ok, but has a smell like nasonex. The nasal spray. I'm looking for more natural

This cleanser has a nice citrus scent that wakes you up without being strong. It feels creamy going on and rinses off clean, leaving your skin soft but not tight. After using it for a bit, my skin looked a little brighter. It is gentle enough for daily use and feels refreshing. A good option if you want something natural with a light, bright feel.

I’m writing this review again since Amazon deleted it. I have used this cleanser for over ten years. I would buy 2 at time so that I would not run out. Well, within the past couple of months I ran out, and so I decided to order more face wash from Amazon. I immediately knew when I pumped it out , it was different due to the thicker texture, and the smell was horrendous. I tried it out for a couple of weeks, and the new formula caused me to break out; and caused my skin to be dry, a problem I NEVER had after all of these years using this face wash. It’s so sad how these companies sell out, and compromise their products after having such solid good working products. My skin was flawless due to this face wash. I would have people ask me what I was using- I am now trying to find a product that’s comparable. If anyone has any suggestions please leave a comment. Thank you! 😊

Great product and nice stories

This feels a little thick on the skin, but the orange scent is really lovely. Not an everyday cleanser.

Livraison très rapide, j'ai même été surprise de recevoir le paquet à domicile ! Moi qui ait de gros soucis d'acné inflammatoire (hormonale et digestive) après chaque période, j'ai trouvé un produit externe doux pour ma peau qui agit aussi sur mes tâches. Attention, rien de miraculeux, il ne les efface mais contribue à rendre la peau plus lumineuse, plus "flawless", donc les tâches se voient moins au fur et à mesure de l'utilisation ! Une vraie pépite que je recommanderai encore et encore !! Attention : Il ne mousse pas !! C'est une crème nettoyante (donc qui se rince) qui reste sous format crème !

This cleanser smells lovely and does a really good job, skin feels clean and soft after use.
