Deluxe Walking Foot for Husqvarna Viking Designer Jade 35

My wife needed this as an attachment to the Husqvarna Jade 20 sewing machine to do a quilt. She was told by the rep that the only way to do that was to purchase another accessory (over $120) that the walking foot could attach to. Glad I did some research, as this little item was able to be attached to the machine with no extra accessory needed- it came with everything you need to attach it. Took about 2 minutes. Plus, this is a lot less money than for an equivalent OEM walking foot. Good solid quality, and it worked perfectly for her quilt! Also, even though the description on Amazon only says Jade 35, any Jade 35 foot will also work on the Jade 20.

I saw reviews saying it didn’t fit the JADE but I use an EMERALD and hoped that maybe it worked for one and not the other. I was WRONG. Absolutely messed up my machine. Due to it not aligning with the center for a straight stitch. Don’t even bother with a zigzag!!!! The needle was SHOVED into the foot and broke the needle and completely misaligned my machine.Have to take it in to get serviced and repaired now. Literally screwing over my small business and costing hundreds in repairs.Eff this damn thing and this terrible seller.

Easy to install, though the instructions weren’t the best. Works great! I knocked out a bunch of thick bowl cozies and potholders with it, then a thin knit sweater. It made those projects so much easier to complete! Great value for the price.

It worked…for a short while and then it didn’t. Those walking foot was great for about 2 dozen placements I was making and then I noticed the entire foot started jumping as I was stitching. I watched and noticed the arm that connects to the needle arm started sticking which would pull the entire foot up off the fabric on the up stroke. I pulled it off and moved the arm up and down and noticed that it is rubbing against a part internally; so something in the inside of the compartment must have come loose and is out of alignment. It worked good while it lasted but I didn’t have it long before it’s totally useless.

This fit on my Viking Jade 20 sewing machine perfectly. Used it for Luxe Cuddle fabric which is very fluffy and thick. The walking foot went through the fabric like it was a single layer of cotton fabric!

The metal rod's attachment inside broke and now it isn't pushing the feed down to meet the sewing machine's dog feeds.

Wanted for my Jade 35 and it doesn't connect properly. Haven't had the opportunity to use until now so I'm stuck with something that doesn't work.
