can I return some of the bottles---too big bottles--too much listerine?

My answer is a little late, but for future reference, use a good pair of scissors or kitchen shears and cut off the two tabs on the bottom of the Black top of the bottle. That will make it a simple screw on/off top.

What percentage of alcohol is in listerin

According to Listerine's own website, about 20%. They also specify that their product is NOT effective as a hand sanitizer/surface disinfectant against Covid-19, if that is why you're asking (see their update).
