I was nervous about buying refurbished but didn’t want to drop over $1000 on a brand new one when I’ve never owned an iPad before. After researching and comparing prices and searching reviews, I finally purchased this one. I couldn’t be happier! It came a few days earlier than planned, and it was well packaged, no flaws, and it works amazingly! I bought it for drawing and painting, so I bought an Apple Pencil (elsewhere) and synced with the Apple Pencil and runs Procreate (a painting and drawing app) like a dream! The charger was generic but I just bought my own Apple one to go with it. The screen is huge, the color is good, and I have zero issues with screen sensitivity. There’s always a risk of buying refurbished, but this was one worth taking. Works as good as I hoped it did, and I’d probably buy from this seller again if I need to in the future. :)

I bought one of these for my wife, who is an artist. The first one came with noticable light bleed on the middle of the screen. So we sent it back and bought another. The second purchase had to be returned before it even got to us, because Amazon customer service accidentally cancelled the protection plan we bought for it instead of cancelling the protection plan we bought for the first one. The third one we bought came a few days ago and has two spots with noticeable light bleed. With all the stress of buying and returning three iPad pros in the span of a few days we resigned ourselves to keeping it and reading with it. But two out of three bought had this issue, and the third probably did too, but as stated, I never actually got to see the thing so who knows? The battery life on the first one wasn't great. It took about 14 hours to fully charge, and about 5 hours to drain. The current one we have takes about 10 hours to charge, but it holds power alright providing you aren't watching videos all day. The cameras is terrible. I know at this point the iPad is five years old, but my cell phone from five years ago has a better camera, and that was a cruddy, and cheap Android that came free with the cheapest provider you can find. I assumed anything would be a step up from that, but nope. Grainy is the best descriptor for this camera. The iPencil is great, but sometimes lag causes strokes to take a second to appear. Honestly, for the frustration getting this caused, and the issues that came with it, I wish I had just bought a brand new one.

I’m an android user when it comes to phones, but no one beats Apple for tablets. I purchased this refurbished unit in Nov 2018. It’s a 2015 model that is still getting updates (currently on iPad OS 14.4.1). It’s a beautiful device. The model number on this unit is ML3K2LL/A and it does have a slot for a SIM card despite the WI-FI only in the title here. I bought the 4 year protection plan too but I haven’t had any problems. The charger appears to be the same kind that came with an iPhone 7. I don’t know if new iPads come with a different charger or not but this charger works fine. Works well with Apple Pencil (1st generation). These devices hold their value well, also. Enjoy!

If it weren't for the tiny scratch on the screen I would swear it were brand new! It's in great condition and def worth the money. It's fast, has plenty of space and I'm very pleased! Much better paying $400 than $1000. Not worth it in my opinion. The one downside besides the scratch is the generic charger that was like 1 foot long I swear... Useless. So if you purchase this iPad go ahead and purchase an apple certified charger. Also, the battery last a good while but it's not the fastest to charge, so I charge it overnight. The charger I got keeps from over charging! Overall... Great investment!

I've never owned an IPad so I can't compare it to another. This IPad Pro 12.9 1st generation is going to be used mainly for reading piano sheet music. I have a lot to learn in using the Apple software, but I have downloaded 245 songs and forScore and am impressed how clean the music is and it is nearly the size of paper sheet music. I've only had it less than a week so I'll have to review it later after using it more. It looks and feels like a brand new IPad.

I'm very pleased with my refurbished IPad. I suspect some of the negative reviews are operator error. I noticed a reoccurring complaint in some negative reviews about the Ipad turning off unexpectedly. Some even characterized it as "turning on and off by itself" I highly doubt the turning on part! Mine did turn off by itself however, I suspected it was due to a setting and it was. Settings_Display & Settings_Auto-Lock Others complained about batteries not living up to their expectations. It is possible to have a defective battery but, batteries need to be initially fully charged. That means before doing anything, fully charge the battery. Batteries also need to not be run down to empty. That practice will reduce battery life. Recharge when the battery meter reaches 20% Many had questions about the model and generation including me so, for convenience, I'm posting this info. By going to settings-About-Model number & Model number again will show the 5 digit designation. According to this and Wiki, the Ipad pro I just received is an A1652 model which is a1st Gen model with Wifi and Cellular, however, mine has Bluetooth as advertised. I haven't yet dug into the cellular claim on Wiki. What generation is the iPad model a1652? For years I resisted buying ‘renewed’ or ‘reconditioned’ (used) products, especially in electronics. However I took a chance in that this iPad was easily less than half price of a new one. I’m glad I did! The unit seems brand new, everything works, and reinstalling all my apps plus 30,000+ photos through Cloud was a breeze (and time ,consuming, so have it done while you’re asleep). They even included a preinstalled screen guard. I highly recommend this product and this purveyor.

ALTHOUGH I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS FOR A VERY SHORT WHILE AND HAVE NOT REALLY HAD OPPORTUNITY TO CHECK EVERYTHING OUT, SO FAR IT BEHAVES LIKE A BRAND NEW MACHINE!

Battery could be better seems to drain fast but when connected it’s fine. No issues in software

This iPad looks and feels brand new, even though i think it’s first generation. I’m using it as a laptop basically, I have the pencil and I bought a Apple folding keyboard for it which works great.

it did arrive very well packed, with an off-brand charger and a usb cablet that could be longer. the ipad looked almost like new, some imperceptible scratches in the back but it works and performs great with the latest IOS installed. I purchased an apple pencil to use with it and it is just great. My only remark is the battery life, I was expecting to hold a bit longer but it really drains the battery fast and it takes too long to recharge. If you could use it plugged in all times it will be perfect.

I really wanted a 13” iPad but I couldn’t find a newer one that was under my top price. I ended up getting a 2nd generation iPad for around $400. It arrived on time but I couldn’t load it, it would shut off before I got about 1/3 of the way loading the info I needed to get the iPad working. I will never order anything for anything even close to being that old!
