A: Yes it is. It's super long and quality built. I bought 2 of them

A: 6 meters long

**Q: What I want is for my voice to sound clear and the background noise to be minimize (or very hard to hear). Will this help?**
A: I used this for filming in the cockpit of a plane and it did a great job of picking up the pilots voices over the loud wind noise. I'd say this would work for you as well.

**Q: technologically, I'm really dumb.  I am looking for just a clip on mic for kids to do a christmas play at church.  Will these work for that?**
A: Yes，this M1 mic has a 5 meter cables, and has a clip. and you can recard the sounds via this mic.
