I have been holding off on buying a plasma cutter mostly due to the cost of them. Recently I had project that really needed a plasma cutter, so I searched for a well rated but cost sensitive plasma cutter on Amazon. My research lead me to the Reboot 45 amp unit. Well, after using it to cut some 16ga steel, I have to say its AWESOME. I had no prior experience with a plasma cutter and the manual that comes with this unit is not much help, but YouTube came thru with some helpful videos and really this unit is easy to setup and just plain works. I had no issues with the unit and it really produced nice cuts when my hand was steady and smooth. The unit really is a joy to use and it's compact size doesn't take up a lot of space in your shop. For a hobbyist I totally recommend this unit!

Only used once so far but for a igbt machine its wayy better than my old cut50 that blew mosfets out and would halt any work i was trying to do. Not sure how it would hold up in a shop but for me its enough for jeep projects and saves on cutting disc for sure not to mention im not worried about the cutting disc blowing up. Ill update if something comes up thats not great but so far i have no complaints.

Cuts better than expected. My hypertherm recently died bought this as a temporary solution, i was impressed actually, cuts better than i expected. Have made multiple cuts on material up to 1/4” and has been great so far. I was able to finish a job and unit has already payed for it’s self.

I purchased the RBC4500 plasma cutter which stated in the ad that it would hit 3/8” metal which it would not it almost didn’t cut 3/16”, I got past this issue, after using the cutter for a total of maybe 45minutes over the last three months, I went to use it again after connecting the air line,power cord ,etc I turned on the machine heard a loud POP from within the machine with a little smoke and no power on the display,will not function at all, it was purchased may 2022 with a one year warranty and am having issues getting assistance, definitely would not recommend this item for even the occasional user

Absolutly love this machine. This cuts through like butter and the handle is so comfortable. I love that the bottom of the handle has a ball joint allowing flexibility to move without stiff hoses. This was easy to set up and ready to go. Absolutly love it.

Poor wiring very weak have had to repair torch and power cord coming into the unit. Won't cut 1/2" mild steel but will cut 1/4 " really clean and aluminum pretty well. Overall still a good little machine

This isn’t a high end expensive plasma cutter. Yes you may have to go buy an air fitting if you don’t have one. But I’m more than happy with it. I cut 1/8” steel like a hot knife through butter. Works great!!!

Does what it says, but this is made for hobbies not major industrial work

I like that it cuts pretty good. I disliked the air valve regulator- it is pretty flimsy. Hose clamps are not good and hose is too big for barbs. Put my own fittings on and it’s good.

Bought 2 of them , both blew up in 2 weeks , will not buy again
