It basically smells like a leathery jacket with raspberry on it, it lasts long on skin, but can’t judge performance for now as it is still new and needs maturation.

Great smell

This was one of the first blind buys and after about a year of maceration, this to me beats many of the designers and some niches in my over 50 bottle collection. Not for young mean, this is definitely suitable for the 30+ crowd. The quality of this is excellent and if someone has me blind test this, then I would rate this a $200+ frag like it's original. Tuscan leather but made cheaper and better. Not blind buy safe but OMG exceptional if you're into mature men fragrances.

I was a bit wilder in my youth and although I wouldn't touch the stuff today, I tried "devil's dandruff" more than once. When researching reviews of this cologne the fact that it smelled like coke popped up more than once. I'm still waiting for the dry down and it's only been about a half hour. I can tell it's beginning to dissipate a bit, but from first spray until now, it definitely does. Not just a little, but it smells exactly like it. I know that after getting into the heart and base notes and after a bit of maceration it will go away and smooth out. But, atm it smells just like Colombian white gold. Straight out of the box, there's no raspberry, no complexity or subtle notes, just straight yayo. I plan to update later, but I had to post my first impressions. The similarity is stunning. Update: It's only been less than a week, and as I suspected after a short maceration the fragrance has blended well and I can detect the raspberry in the opening and heart. The notoriously illicit opening has smoothed and I can only faintly detect the scent that I described. Raspberry and leather in the opening, through most of the heart. I personally can't distinguish between leather and suede, but it softens as the heart notes fully develop. I hate powdery scents, but I enjoy the slight powdery note as it transitions from leather to suede. The base is actually surprisingly nice, too. Although it's not listed, I'm picking up an incense note. Smoky and powdery, but only slightly. Longevity is very good. 8-10 hours. I'm not sure of it's projection, but the sillage is very good as well. It's not loud, but it leaves a trail. Low frequency, not high. Updating from 4 stars to 5. I love it.

I haven't smelt tuscan leather, but this is nice if you are into raspberry smell as it smells nice and sweet without being cloying due to the smoky leather rounds it up. It's more raspberry than leather though, so if you are looking for more leathery version, the toscano leather has more leather, but also dirtier and more animalic despite also having raspberry note. Performance is above average so that's a plus. The atomizer is awful is it was leaking when I received it. Doesn't smell like gasoline leather to my nose at least.
