I've made 6 quilts total in my life, and none had super complicated blocks. The hardest block I've ever made was just composed of half square triangles (as I said, I'm more beginner.)So never in my dreams would I think I could attempt, let alone actually make, a Pineapple Block. And I'm certainly not skilled or knowledgeable enough to try paper piecing one (which is how I usually see them being made.)Imagine my surprise when I find a ruler that does all the work for me. I purchased the ruler, watched two YouTube tutorials on how to use it. One from Missouri Star Quilt Company and another tutorial from Shabby Fabrics. Then got out my scraps and gave it a try. And it worked perfect on the 1st try!!!! I couldn't believe how easy it was. With squaring up every round it just made everything lay nice and flat and even.I highly recommend this ruler to anyone who thought pineapple blocks were too advanced or out of their reach.
