- Throat Gold for Dogs - Throat Discomfort & Immune Care, 2 oz

My poor baby (15 yr old Maltese) has a collapsed trachea and over time his cough has gotten significantly worse. He takes hydrocodone (dog cough suppressant) daily but its seem to stop being as effective as it used to be. I ordered this as a last resort and after one dose he has stopped coughing. He’s resting with ease now! I love this stuff and I guess it is worth the price after all! If you’re contemplating it, just try it, I’m pleasantly surprised!

My senior chihuahua finally has relief ! My Chi ‘Chi has been suffering with a collapsed trachea. Some of her episodes have been quite severe. I have talked with my vet and have weighed out several options . Decided to give this a try first . Within the first 3 days ( twice a day ) I could tell a difference and within a week I have noticed a HUGE difference .Also, she is very picky but loves the taste ! True blessing!

Honestly I was VERY skeptical about this product actually working on my dog. My dog is 12 and he has a collapsed trachea and it’s been rough and has been on meds for the last 4-5 years and I worry about the amount of medication he was on JUST FOR THE COUGH. However, I gave this product a try to potentially substitute the medication on occasion and it actually has been working very well. No joke, I haven’t heard him cough AT ALL since I bought this product. It has helped soo much and I’m super glad it worked on my dog. Didn’t give him any digestive issues at all, nothing changed other than the cough which I’m super glad about. So if there’s any dog parents out there that are curious about this product i definitely recommend 100% the only reason I didn’t give it a 5/5 is because the product does have an odd odor but nothing else beyond that

Update 10/23/17: I just ordered my second bottle. The first one arrived 9/17/27. He gets 2 meals a day, and I put 20 drops in each meal, so 40 drops per day. The bottle lasted 5 weeks. My 14 year old Beagle now only coughs about once or twice a week. The weather has cooled, which I think also has helped him. However, an episode of interest prompts me to share the following. My husband has been in charge of feeding my Beagle for the past week. Finally, tonight I fed him. I tried squeezing the Throat Gold and nothing came out. I had to tilt to get a few drops in his meal. First review: My Beagle has been on Throat Gold for a few weeks now, and I have had excellent results. I will be buying this again when my bottle runs out. Nothing else has worked! I am super thrilled that putting him down is off the table for now. He was miserable, and so was I. For more..... My Beagle is 14 years old and has developed a horrible, hacking cough. I spent well over $250 at the vet on x-rays of the lungs/heart/trachea and meds - prescriptive hydrocodone, over the counter cough syrup, and antibiotics. None of these worked. I was worried about my poor boy and agonizing whether it was time to put him down. I've had to put two dogs down in the past two years. This is my last guy. It was to the point where I was wearing ear plugs at night, covering my head with a pillow to try block out his coughing. And I felt so sorry for him, number one concern! I decided to give Throat Gold a shot after seeing such positive reviews. I'd say his coughing decreased about 80% overall. Some days are better than others, but honestly we are out of the woods from that horrible, hacking, awful, constant cough of a few weeks ago. It seems expensive, but you will be 3X as much paying for a vet visit, x-rays, blood work, drugs.

Well, I have a 10pound Yorkie. I was thinking about having her put down. She has a collapsed trachea. I read all of these feedbacks and thought maybe I’ll buy this and try it for Lucy. You know what it’s REAl it really did work on the 4th day she stopped all the honking, All the coughing. I really truly didn’t believe this. But it works. I give her 0.5 and I don’t put it on her food. Just give it to her from the dropper. She don’t mind the taste. I took some too, just to taste it. It’s not bad at all. This Company is brilliant for making this. My dog was set to be put down. And three days before her appointment I tried these drops They Work but do give it 3 days. Before u make a decision. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!! She still coughs every now and then. But I can now pick her up without her coughing up a storm. She also, has energy. She has had no problem with digestion or going to the bathroom. I highly, Highly recommend!!!

I have an elderly pug that suffers from a collapsed trachea, which I guess is common in small breeds. The symptoms come and go, but recently they came on strong and he was in a great deal of discomfort, especially at night, when he would hack and cough. Not only would he get very little sleep, but the rest of the family were also kept awake by the noise and concern for him. The vet saw him at the onset of the symptoms but did not prescribe anything, just encouraging us to get his weight down and keep him cool. When the symptoms came on stronger, I searched the internet and found this product. The reviews were great and I was hopeful it would do the trick. Unfortunately, I saw little to no improvement with his symptoms which was a disappointment, especially because these drops are not inexpensive, and I was desperate to get him some relief. I ended up taking him back to the vet and was prescribed a cough medication which seems to be helping. Bottom line, these drops were worthless to my dog, but according to other reviews, many seem to have benefitted and rate it highly, so make your own decision.

It works. It works so well that the internal medicine specialist said to continue to use this to treat my senior Chihuahuas collapsing trachea and cough. In just a couple days, we saw a complete transformation of the cough. I was desperate. At this point, I would’ve tried anything. He also has valve disease and we were not sure what the actual cause of the cough was but after trying trials of everything… this is actually the thing that worked. Yes it is a little bit expensive but a small price to pay for your dogs comfort. Comes in a tincture and is easy to administer. My dog is pretty picky with the oral medication and doesn’t typically love it. I found this to be less offensive to him than some of the other oral medication he’s taken. We give it with food twice a day. He has slept through the night, two days for the first time in a month. If you’re out of options, just give it a try.

It seems to help with his nighttime cough along with one pill from Doctor. I do recommend it.

This actually works, I have an English Staffy Cross who has a collapsed trachea and I tried Manuka honey and it did ok but she was still honking like a goose. Decided to try this, got it Saturday gave her first dose and by time second dose was due she had stopped honking by half, Sunday morning she had stopped honking altogether, I’m so happy.

Excellent for our little dog with collapsing trachea! She seems to know it helps her coughing and she easily takes the drops or the chewiest! I find the chewiest are easier for her! They mush up easily so she can swallow them easily! Lifesaver product for our dog!

This is the only thing that helps my Pomeranian with his tracheal problems. His honking cough always improves with this syrup. And he loves it as well. But be patient, it might take a week or two before you see actual results. But it works. This is what saved us from steroids or surgery.

When we received your Throat Gold tincture on June 19th, 2017, we had just about given up regarding the fate of our 18 year-old Lhasa Apso. For the past week prior to that date she had been "honking" in distress almost continuously - day and night. On June 17th, we had her examined by a good veterinarian who took an X-ray and diagnosed her illness as a collapsed trachea (windpipe). The doctor concluded that there was really no treatment and that we should be prepared for the worst. At that time it sounded like good advice. It goes without saying that my wife and I were considerably distressed and had no alternative other than seeking INTERNET help. That is when we found Throat Gold and we ordered it immediately via Amazon. The product arrived on the second day and we commenced our regimen of 7 drops twice a day on the evening of the 19th of June, 2017. During the first 10 days or so we saw no noticeable improvement and were slowly abandoning hope but then, suddenly, our Dixie had a good night. Then another good night and after that she improved rapidly to the point where she is now (two weeks later) almost symptom-free. Once or twice a day, when she gets excited about something, she will gag, honk, cough - whatever you call it - for a few moments but then she settles down and is quiet again - for the rest of the day and night. We are firmly convinced that our Dixie encountered a physical trauma at the dog grooming place where we have her clipped every 3 months or so. Now, after two weeks of 14 drops per day in two feedings, we plan on cutting down on her regimen of 14 drops a day to 10 drops a day and we will probably reorder another bottle - for good measure.
