Pet Wellbeing Throat Gold for Dogs - Throat Discomfort & Immune Care, 2 oz

I have a 13 year old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) with chronic bronchitis and a collapsed trachea. We have been treating her for years with prescription inhalers, hydrocodone (prescription cough medicine), and we have tried every pill possible related to allergies, decongestants, etc. It got to the point a few days ago where nothing seemed to be working, we were at the maximum dose for all of her prescription medications and she was still constantly coughing throughout the day and night and we thought it was time to have to consider putting her down. Out of desperation, I tried these drops and saw improvement after the first dose. I am highly skeptical about herbal remedies in general and do not know why this seems to work. That said, I am so happy that it is making a difference. This DOES NOT cure her ailments, but it does seem to help her congestion/inflammation/irritation that is the root cause of her coughing. After 3 days, she is sleeping MUCH better and is breathing better throughout the day. She still coughs periodically but it is a manageable amount. My dog is also extremely fussy with food lately so I give her the medicine directly in her mouth via an oral syringe. I don't know how long this medication will work but it is definitely helping improve her quality of life in the short-term.

My precious boy had started with a cough that got progressively worst. The vet thought it was bronchitis and sent us home with antibiotics. After a couple weeks it progressed into a honking cough and gag, it kept him, me and my husband up the whole night, feeling helpless as nothing we did seemed to give him relief. We immediately made an appointment and took him back to the vet the next day. They took X-rays and thank the dear Lord ruled out a heart condition or fluid in the lungs. They said he has a collapsed trachea which is still a concern for us, however the vet said it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. honestly I couldn’t really see the difference when looking at the X-ray. They sent us home with cough meds/pain relief which we began right away. After a couple days it didn’t seem to be helping him. I was desperate to find something natural that would give my baby some relief. That’s when I came across this throat gold for dogs. He has been taking this for about a week now and the difference in his cough is like night and day. He is sleeping through the night and so much more like himself. For reference he is a puggle, 14years young. We follow the directions for his weight and give it to him twice a day mixed in some lean cooked hamburger, the only way he will gobble it down. Me and my husband are beyond grateful for this wonderful product and for the people who shared their experience and similar reviews of this natural elixir. Our fur baby means the world to us, we are thrilled that this is helping him, I hope this helps anyone dealing with this situation.

Honestly I was VERY skeptical about this product actually working on my dog. My dog is 12 and he has a collapsed trachea and it’s been rough and has been on meds for the last 4-5 years and I worry about the amount of medication he was on JUST FOR THE COUGH. However, I gave this product a try to potentially substitute the medication on occasion and it actually has been working very well. No joke, I haven’t heard him cough AT ALL since I bought this product. It has helped soo much and I’m super glad it worked on my dog. Didn’t give him any digestive issues at all, nothing changed other than the cough which I’m super glad about. So if there’s any dog parents out there that are curious about this product i definitely recommend 100% the only reason I didn’t give it a 5/5 is because the product does have an odd odor but nothing else beyond that

My poor baby (15 yr old Maltese) has a collapsed trachea and over time his cough has gotten significantly worse. He takes hydrocodone (dog cough suppressant) daily but its seem to stop being as effective as it used to be. I ordered this as a last resort and after one dose he has stopped coughing. He’s resting with ease now! I love this stuff and I guess it is worth the price after all! If you’re contemplating it, just try it, I’m pleasantly surprised!

I'm not a person that leaves reviews for everything they buy but when I do upload a review it's because it's important to me and feel that others should read a honest review. The reason why I give this product a 50/50 is because it worked but it also came with some side effects. So I followed the directions on the bottle and noticed a big difference on my dog (Maltipoo) with in 4 days of using it her severe cough was gone, it actually worked. Yet, on the 5th day, I noticed she was having some trouble when she to poop outside. Right when she was done she screamed like if something hurt her. I then realized that she was slightly bleeding from her butt. She had never had issues before with pooping so it was a bit strange to see that happen. Nothing in her diet had changed except for this product that I started giving her. On the 6th day, same thing happened so now I was worried. I stopped giving her the drops immediately and feed her boiled chicken breast with white rice and by the 7th day she was ok again. It appeared that this product was making her stomach irritated and causing her issues when pooping. So I stoped using this product for 3 days and began to give her the product, only this time instead of the 5 drops that I was supposed to give her, I started low and gradually work my way up to 4 drops instead of 5. So in the first day I gave her 1 drop, second day 2 drops etc... So my suggestion would be to start with a low than recommended dosage this way it allows your dog to get use to the drops. Gradually increase the dosage up the the recommended amount. Hopefully this works for you as well.

Update 10/23/17: I just ordered my second bottle. The first one arrived 9/17/27. He gets 2 meals a day, and I put 20 drops in each meal, so 40 drops per day. The bottle lasted 5 weeks. My 14 year old Beagle now only coughs about once or twice a week. The weather has cooled, which I think also has helped him. However, an episode of interest prompts me to share the following. My husband has been in charge of feeding my Beagle for the past week. Finally, tonight I fed him. I tried squeezing the Throat Gold and nothing came out. I had to tilt to get a few drops in his meal. First review: My Beagle has been on Throat Gold for a few weeks now, and I have had excellent results. I will be buying this again when my bottle runs out. Nothing else has worked! I am super thrilled that putting him down is off the table for now. He was miserable, and so was I. For more..... My Beagle is 14 years old and has developed a horrible, hacking cough. I spent well over $250 at the vet on x-rays of the lungs/heart/trachea and meds - prescriptive hydrocodone, over the counter cough syrup, and antibiotics. None of these worked. I was worried about my poor boy and agonizing whether it was time to put him down. I've had to put two dogs down in the past two years. This is my last guy. It was to the point where I was wearing ear plugs at night, covering my head with a pillow to try block out his coughing. And I felt so sorry for him, number one concern! I decided to give Throat Gold a shot after seeing such positive reviews. I'd say his coughing decreased about 80% overall. Some days are better than others, but honestly we are out of the woods from that horrible, hacking, awful, constant cough of a few weeks ago. It seems expensive, but you will be 3X as much paying for a vet visit, x-rays, blood work, drugs.

Our 12 year old Yorkie-poo had suffered with mild trachea collapse for a few years, but everything got much worse a few weeks ago. He began wheezing and choking to the point of barely being able to breathe. I had heard that Benadryl helps so I tried giving it to him and it seemed to calm him down and lessened his symptoms. I noticed that right at four hours after each dose of Benadryl his symptoms came rushing back, not to mention it practically made him a zombie, doing nothing but sleeping. I knew I had to find something else to try and help him and we were all worried that he might not have much longer to live in the state he was in. I started researching everything I could about his condition and ended up deciding to give Throat Gold a try. I have to admit, even though I was trying to be hopeful it would work especially considering several other good reviews on here, I still remained skeptical. I gave him his first dose the same day it arrived and didn't notice anything, but I knew some people said it may take a few weeks to really see a change. By day 2 he was still taking the Benadryl every 4 hours and I gave him his throat gold. To my surprise after his morning dose on day 2 he went 8 hours without the Benadryl and wasn't wheezing, coughing or choking. I kept expecting him to start in any second and I'd have to give him more Benadryl but it never happened. We're now a few weeks in and he's like a new dog, he hasn't had any symptoms at all and no Benadryl. It's extremely easy to give to him and can simply be mixed in with some wet food and sometimes I just give it to him right from the dropper. If you're wondering if you should buy this product, I would strongly encourage it because it really works. In my opinion it saved our dog's life.

Well, I have a 10pound Yorkie. I was thinking about having her put down. She has a collapsed trachea. I read all of these feedbacks and thought maybe I’ll buy this and try it for Lucy. You know what it’s REAl it really did work on the 4th day she stopped all the honking, All the coughing. I really truly didn’t believe this. But it works. I give her 0.5 and I don’t put it on her food. Just give it to her from the dropper. She don’t mind the taste. I took some too, just to taste it. It’s not bad at all. This Company is brilliant for making this. My dog was set to be put down. And three days before her appointment I tried these drops They Work but do give it 3 days. Before u make a decision. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!! She still coughs every now and then. But I can now pick her up without her coughing up a storm. She also, has energy. She has had no problem with digestion or going to the bathroom. I highly, Highly recommend!!!

This actually works, I have an English Staffy Cross who has a collapsed trachea and I tried Manuka honey and it did ok but she was still honking like a goose. Decided to try this, got it Saturday gave her first dose and by time second dose was due she had stopped honking by half, Sunday morning she had stopped honking altogether, I’m so happy.

Honey is also very soothing and healing for the throat in between dosage as needed. His last episode was quite severe; it's also effective for respiratory issue! Throat Gold is a life savour, designed with your dog well-being in mind! Needless-to-say, expensive vet who would do what exactly but testing this and that $$$$. I like this medicinal approach because it supports the immune system and heals. I trust in medicine that comes from Mother Earth as it best aligns with the biological body, animal and human.

My small 12 year old dog Belle has had Kennel Cough for approximately 6 months on and off. I thought I would try Throat Gold to soothe her throat. She has been using Throat Gold for one week and her cough has almost gone, she seems more relaxed and happier. We didn't really expect such a quick improvement and are so glad we tried it.

I have a rescue dog who recently moved with me from Portugal to the UK. About a year ago he started snorting a lot and coughing and the vet there checked him over and always said it was an allergy - until a week before we moved to the UK, when she said she thought it was a throat issue and he should have a laryngoscopy at a cost of 400 euros, but no one was available until after we moved. Grrr. It got worse once we moved here, so I took him to a vet here in the UK, who gave him some antibiotics and said the next step would be laryngoscopy and MRI scan at a cost of £7000!! Eek! I can't afford that and my insurance won't pay out as it's a pre-existing issue (and has a limit of £1000 anyway). Apart from the snorting noises my dog seems perfectly fine no lack of oxygen, happy, eating and drinking and playing etc. i didn't know what to do. I did a lot of reading and decided that there was a chance it was tracheal collapse as there's a big likelihood my dog may have been chained up as a pup, causing damage. Anyway, I came across an article about Throat Gold and decided I might as well give it a go, I had nothing to lose. There was no change for the first two or three weeks and then suddenly my son commented on how much quieter our dog was in the evenings. We'd got used to the constant snorting coming from his bed but now there was silence. And since then he has been so so much better. I wouldn't say whatever the problem is has gone away, because he still has days when his breathing is noisy or rasping or he gags a little, but generally he's much quieter and also seems much happier - it wasn't until he improved that we realised he was no longer sniffing things, but now he's like a bloodhound! So I don't know, I haven't tried anything else so it can only be this stuff that has made a difference and I'm so pleased. Yes it's expensive but cheaper than the exploratory tests, and I've just ordered a second bottle.
