The material thickness was thin and beautifully colored. Very much worth the money. The quality was perfect for the price. It was a gag gift for my 10 year old which ended up falling in love with it and wearing it for spirit week at school and everything !!! Ease to wear .

Even though it's advertised as medieval, I wore this for Dia De Las Muertas (Day of the Dead), and it did not disappoint. It does run a bit small for the bustier ladies so, I originally ordered a medium and returned for a large. Because of that, I didn't get the cinched waist from the provided corset tie in the back so, I wound up buying one from Amazon and that really did the trick. I wore a 4-hoop petticoat also from Amazon that really helped to complete the look. The provided headband was surprisingly really nice and full. Because there was a group of us dressing in the same theme, I wanted to stand out since the flower headband is so common. I switched between the provided headband, and a hat that I made.

After reading all reviews that stated that the colors look faded I was pleasantly surprised when I received my dress. It is pretty bright. The fabric is thin and not forgiving, and the cut is a little weird, the dress shifts a little on one side, but what did I want for $25? I did not expect it to be any more expensive than the price I paid for it. As I said, the dress is bright, easy to get in and out. It washes well, no running colors. The sizing is accurate. I am 5'9"/34C/29" waist and I got a Medium since the dress can be laced up, and I did not want it to be tight in the chest. I could get away with Small, but Medium is absolutely fine. The length is also good without a petticoat, which I did not want to wear anyway.

I knew it wasn’t going to be the best quality for the price, but typically I’m more a medium and I got a large and what I got seemed more like a small. It ripped upon putting it on and it was definitely not floor length. The red seemed to be a bit faded and though it was a stretchy material the lace around the sleeves was not. I don’t know I wasn’t impressed with this product.

First, I ordered the purple and received this color, maroon. The bag said purple, but it was obviously mislabeled. But overall, it was constructed exactly like an average costume from a box store. The lacing on the back helps the fit a little. There is a hole in the right armpit above the zipper where it was never sewn all the way up. But the arms and shoulders are cut a little awkward, so it's difficult to raise your arms to put the collar on. I'm just an average size woman (12 or M/L), but the top is tight across the bust line and gaping at the top in the same measure. There's no contour shaping to the bust area. The side zipper was a plus in getting it off though. You have to unzip the side and hike the whole thing up to your waist, slide the gown up so you can get your arms over your head, grab the sleeve cuffs, and pull it over your head. Like I said, the shoulders are designed awkwardly and are constricting. The length is good for my height though. I'll have to do some stitching at the bust to correct the gap, but it'll do for an evening.

My 5 star score acknowledges that I paid < $40 for the dress - I didn’t expect haute couture. The dress was GREAT for the price. I received tons of compliments when I wore it to a costume event. I thought a medium might fit but ordered a large to be safe ( I am 5’ 6”, 133 lbs). It was a quite roomy but I used the laces in the back to cinch it up (a nice feature) and it was great. Highly recommend this dress!

Ok. For $36 this dress is impressive. No, it is not brocade, or thick material. It is more like sheet material but it really looks good on. I was scared it would be bright red like the picture but it is more wine red which looks good. I ordered this and worried it would be ugly and mid shaped. I was shopping for something else thinking it would be a cheap cheesy costume, but It’s not! It looks good. It’s a thin material which is great because I am wearing it to a ball. Size up! If you have larger breasts that may be an issue. I am 36C and it fits great. Might be tight if I was larger.
