Do you have a size chart?

4 is xs (us sizes) and 8 is (xl) if you have bought underwear in the us use your regular size

I usually wear a size 9, and I ordered that size. When it came, I was surprised it fit me as if 2 sizes smaller (7).I thought I had gotten larger, but even my latest 9's I had gotten that covered me well and was comfortable in the leg openings still were the same as I'd got them, so my butt stayed the same. I say order 2 sizes larger and it will do well. Scroll down a bit for the size selection. Amazon puts ads in the way of information. The sizes they give are in little blocks across the page. I hope you get a better fit. I might have to get full briefs and fold over and sew to make my own bikinis. I can have panties under my "Dunlap," but over it? I feel constricted.
