I like the way the switch mutes the signal so only the talkbox is active. There is no need to tap multiple switches to activate the talkbox or go back to the regular guitar sound. I looked at the Rocktron Banshee, which also has a built in amp. I decided to go with the MXR based on the bulletproof reputation that goes along with that brand. I think this may have been a little cheaper than the Rocktron, too. This is solidly built and sounds great. GearTree is a great seller, too.
