Why is it there is only 1 battery is in the box?** A: The basic kit consists of everything you need for the drill to be functional. You get the drill body, a case, a charger and a single battery. To keep costs down they supply you with a single battery, and that is all that most users will require. 3 years ago I threw away a previous model 14V B&D cordless drill because a replacement battery cost more than the latest complete 18V drill set. I have had this drill for 2 years now and to avoid the battery issue again (and to get spare batteries in the process) I found a deal where they were selling the basic none Multi Evo set with 2 batteries as cheap as they were selling a spare battery (OK - a little bit more, but a negligible amount), so I bought the set. To answer your question (again) there is only one battery A) to keep cost down and B) because that is all most people need. **Q: its written that its a dewalt but the picture is for a B&D so what is it?** A: B&D **Q: is it Dewalt or black and decker ? the description says dewalt but the picture says black and decker ?** A: This is a black and decker multievo ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks Amazon. *by O***R on 10 May 2025* Same As Described. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prompt and courteous service by the supplier *by K***Y on 24 May 2019* Excellent product, good built quality, prompt and good service by the supplier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You should expect better quality for the money that you pay! *by M***D on 30 August 2021* It's not really cheap but when yiu look at it B&D used very cheap quality materials.
