IP68 means something important when lighting a fountain. Waterproof when submerged. More expensive than "weatherproof", but it is designed with an extra waterproof shell. We live in the northwest, and I had to figure out how to drain and winterize our fountain. So I didn't attach the strip to the cement base - cement may not be the best for adherence anyway. I had some extra direct bury underground cable, and attached the strip to that, making a loop around the fountain base. Wire is heavy, stiff, and a smooth surface for peel-and-stick. Other options would work, but I had the wire laying around from another home project. Warm white is 2700-3000. Lots of others cheat. This is the real thing,

I cut this up to light up a water fountain in the back yard. No leds have burnt out. My one complaint is that they don't provide enough silicone caps to make the ends water proof, so I had to gob on some silicone gel that hardens and protects the ends. The adhesive backing is not going to stay sticky, so be sure you have another way to mount it. My application did not need it to be adhered to a surface.

Very bright lights. Used them to replace my original lights under my RV awning. Much better than the original lights. Hope they last longer than the originals. (3yrs.)

This seems to be a first-rate product, but I couldn't tell because it didn't work for my application. I needed to replace the strip in the plastic channel of our RV's awning, and after watching a YouTube video, this seemed like the product to choose. Problem is, this product is so thick (a good thing for durability) there was no way I could get it into my channel. Too bad I had already cut it or I could have returned it. This is no doubt a good product for most outdoor applications but it just didn't fit for my situation. I ended up ordering a lesser quality one from another supplier and it fit perfectly.

I purchased one 16' strand of the waterproof flexible LED strip light. I cut the strip into two pieces and powered each separately with a 30w DC adapter. Since each end of the light strip was hardwired with a red/black wire, there was no soldering needed. The 3000K is very bright and by LED standards is more "warm", but not the warm you'd get from an incandescent light. I'm very happy with my purchase and I've already recommended to a friend.

Adhesion worked very well, and the worked very well.Only thing was that they were somewhat brighter than I expected.But liked them very much!!
