Moisturer Gel, Aloe Vera, 12 Ounce

really love this aloe vera gel. Just a heads-up — once it dries, it does leave a slightly tight, mask-like feeling on the skin. It’s not irritating, but you’ll feel a bit of tugging if you’ve applied it to a large area (especially after a sunburn). Personally, this doesn’t bother me at all, but it’s something to be aware of if you prefer a completely invisible finish. Performance-wise, it works just as well as more expensive aloe gels I’ve tried, and for the price, it’s a fantastic value. It soothes irritation and hydrates nicely, especially after sun exposure. A little tip: keep it in the fridge for extra cooling and relief, it feels amazing on sunburned skin! Overall, it’s effective, affordable, and a great staple to have on hand.

I always keep Fruit of the Eart Vloe Vera Gel on hand, because it's so useful. Unlike many aloe gels, this does not contain added colors, SD alcohol, menthol, or lidocaine. SD alcohol and menthol provide a cooling sensation, but can irritate the skin. Lidocaine is what your dentist injects into your gums to numb nerve endings for dental procedures. I have used gels with lidocaine in the past, and it does help with the pain, but it will not help heal the burn. Neither will SD alcohol or menthol. If you have mild sunburn, apply this frequently, stay inside, and stay cool. Fortunately, this product can be applied as often as you please. If your sunburn is moderate to severe, see your doctor. I use this for minor household burns. Two days ago, I burned my forearm near my elbow while reaching into a 425 degree oven. Right away, I ran some cool (not cold) water over the affected area, and started applying this gel every couple hours. I also used a good moisturizer and sunscreen; more on those products later. The burned area of skin is now brown. There is no redness, no pain or irritation, blistering, peeling, or scabbing. The skin is perfectly smooth and the mark will fade. It's also good for an array of minor skin irritations. Sometimes when I'm handling plants and gardening, oils from the plant cause a bit of an allergic reaction. I'm not talking about poison ivy types of reactions here, just itchiness with or without redness, without a rash. It's quite soothing. It also helps heal minor cuts and abrasions, those tiny injuries that happen while cleaning house or handling office items. I've used it in a pinch as hair gel. It has no film formers or silicones, so it doesn't add hold or shine, but the thickeners will add some body to my hair, which is great, because my hair can use all the body I can give it. For both men and women this is possibly the best aftershave product out there. No matter how you remove hair, you may experience skin irritation. Depilatories, epilators, electric, and blade razors can all cause rash or razor burn. Gentlemen, please get rid of aftershave products and use this. Don't use aftershave products or colognes containing alcohol or menthol. No matter what you've been told, these products are not good for your skin. You may think the "burn" is a necessary part of a good shave, but you're wrong. A good shave is the result of good shaving tools and techniques. Those products burn because they irritate your skin, and the more irritation you have from shaving, the more they burn. Otherwise, this is the first thing you should apply to your skin after shaving. Use styptic powder or pencil, or an alum block to stop bleeding if necessary. Then, men and women both, use this gel first thing after shaving or other methods of hair removal. Aloe contains potent anti-irritants. It will soothe your skin, and help ease redness. After using the aloe gel, apply a moisturizer, such as Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM , CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion , or ShiKai Lotion, Dry Skin Therapy , Gold Bond Ultimate Restoring Lotion, With CoQ10 . You'll need sunscreen if you go outside. I recommend Olay Professional Pro-X Age Repair Lotion With Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 , EltaMD UV Lotion Broad-Spectrum SPF 30+ , Banana Boat Sunscreen Protect and Hydrate Moisturizing Broad Spectrum Sun Care Sunscreen Lotion - SPF 50 , or Industrial Strength Sunscreen ISSC-8-30+FF SPF 30+ Micro Refined Clear Zinc Oxide Fragrance Free . Finally, and yummiest of all, this is so marvelous for rubbing your feet. Especially in the summer, when it's mighty cooling, sometime after you get home from school or work, get your dawgs out of your shoes and spend a few minutes massaging your feet with aloe gel. It feels fantastic, and it isn't so messy as massage creams, lotions, or oils, or other moisturizers. It's a dandy treat for your feet.

This aloe gel is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and gives a nice cooling feel on the skin. I’ve been using it on my bald head, and it helps calm dryness and irritation without leaving any sticky residue. A little goes a long way, and it’s great for keeping the skin smooth and hydrated. Simple, affordable, and effective.

I bought this Aloe Vera gel to use with my Pulsetto device and it works perfectly. Also, it’s a comforting rub on my dry hands though I wouldn’t recommend it as your sole dry skin “lotion”.

Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera seemed to be a reliable and widely available product for skin care and soothing purposes. One notable point is that it is fairly easy to differentiate authentic products because “Made in America” or export and import labeling follows strict rules. This makes it easier for consumers to verify quality and origin yet it seemed to me decitful due to the owners are drawn towars as cheap as they could with convince. I have used a variety of best products, both general retail items and skin care, that are acceptable on shelves for customers. However, I have noticed that many products are being sold without a seal, which can automatically raise concerns about quality control and may signal changes in the system. Not only are some products missing the seal, but price differences and inconsistencies suggest that many items are not as authentic as they used to be 10–12 years ago. While it’s nice to have a product that doesn’t come with excessive packaging, a missing seal can feel suspicious. Yes,so it came with missing seal. Trust is not built through deceit, even if it is convenient for sellers. Convenience may attract cheap customers, but it often appeals to buyers with minimal requirements, and such strategies are not sustainable or universally applicable. Overall, the product performs well for moisturizing and calming skin, and it maintains good quality when purchased from reputable retailers.

It works and feels great on sunburns. It helps with moisturizing as well. Once it dries it is not sticky like hand lotion. Being clear, it does not show up on skin either. Has helped keep a light sunburn from peeling. It reduces peeling for moderate sunburns. Suntan lotion is just BBQ sauce for me; I burn regardless. Good to have a backup plan.

Perfect for sunburns without the useless 0.5% lidocaine. It's a clear gel so its non-staining and no sticky residue. Its great for dry skin and mosquito bites too. Get this. You wont regret it

Very nice genuine product. It's all purpose gel. Can be used for shaving, skincare, shampoo. It spread easily without any residue and there is no artificial fragrance, color or additives. We should avoid color and too much fragrance products.

I always buy this at Walmart but it has been sold out as of lately due to the pandemic. It’s a lot cheaper at Walmart but I was willing to pay the difference because it’s a crucial part of my skincare routine. I wouldn’t say this is a moisturizing product at all, I personally have very oily skin and it dries up my skin and makes it flakey. I use it to prevent acne. Overall good product but not a good moisturizer, probably due to the preservatives and added ingredients
