can baby be worn forward facing out?

Hi Michael, The Sleepy Wrap is for wearing baby facing inward only. Baby wraps in general do not offer any leg or hip support when baby is facing outward so it's not a good idea to wear your babe facing outward in any wrap. Best, Melissa Sleepy Wrap Customer Support

Wash before using? Machine wash and dry?
