EcoTools Cleanser Shampoo Makeup Brush Cleaner, Fragrance-Free, 6 Fl Oz

I moved to this cleaner after throwing away my old brush-cleaning machine and deciding to try it because so many people were recommending it. I am so glad I did! It is so easy to use, and a little goes a long way. The bottle size is absolutely huge, and the consistency is very nice. The lather seemed to work great in my machine, and with the size of the bottle, it will last me a good year. I also love how great my brushes looked after using them. Highly recommend and a fantastic value for the money!

I started off ordering 2 bottles of the Eco brush cleaner "shampoo." I canceled that order & ordered only 1 bottle bc after I read the part where it said brush "shampoo" after placing my order. I'd seen alot of dif brands of makeup brush cleaners & have bought dif brands & when I ran out I used shampoo in a bowl & it worked ok. Most brush cleaners weren't "shampoo", they were thin & it took alot of it to clean only a few brushes & 2 sponges took half a bottle. Out of all the brush cleaners I've used none of them were thick like shampoo & it says on the bottle "brush cleaning shampoo." This brush cleaner is thick, thicker than shampoo & a little goes a long way, if you run out use shampoo but I believe that the brush cleaner is a little better than using regular shampoo bc it's made w/ingred that actually break down the oils & chemicals that cosmetics are made of, I don't think that reg shampoo has the ingredients to break down the impurities & bacteria that can build up in your makeup sponges & brushes. That being said, I had to use it right away & it worked much better than any "brush cleaner" I've tried. It came in the mail today. It's very thick, not much fragrance but is so awesome in breaking down the products in makeup. I washed my sponges & they looked brand new & I havent cleaned them in months. The last time I cleaned my brushes & sponges they didnt come clean, the dif cleaners & shampoo I've used I could still see makeup residue on my sponges & brushes. I've been saying this lately abt buying cosmetics & anything from cosmetic family like cleaners, any makeup, face creams, lotions, perfume, body oils or perfume oils, etc... If you've been shopping from an online/box store, Ulta store, where you have a membership & pay those high interest rates please, please check out Amazon b4 buying any of these items. Amazon has major name brands. I have some expensive makeup brushs & some not so expensive but using brush cleaner, it conditions & keeps your bristles soft & they will last a long time. You'll find something that you prob didn't expect, I'm almost sure of that. I wish I could do price comparison in my reviews but I don't think that it's allowed. I know that you'll save alot of money in the price of cosmetics & shipping & in interest rates compared to online clubs/ membership fees & when you really like a product if Amazon is out they will notify you when it's in stock or give you alternative choices. Amazon also has coupon prices so you need to look for that as well. I've given bad reviews & sent things back & the return policy with Amazon is great & free, if you dont like it you can always return it! You won't regret buying this "brush shampoo", it's made to break down the chemicals & it really does work.

I've been searching for a good makeup brush cleaner & this is IT!!! A little drop goes a long way, my brushes look basically brand new. I am beyond happy with my purchase & will most definitely purchase again

This is a great product, I have sensitive skin and fine bristle brushes, and it didn't damage either one! It left my brushes feeling soft and clean, and there is very little scent. It is a little bit expensive for a not very concentrated formula, and unfortunately that was why I had to knock off a star. But other than that it's great! Good packaging, and easy to use!

I am a hair and makeup artist. Cleaning my brushes and blenders are a chore, at home and work. I was looking to cut costs on things I spend money on. Tried this out and wow. Easy to use, great cleaning period. The bottle is so big I should get more than 6 months out of it. It’s a must have now for me.

I have rosacea, so I use mineral powder. I have two general makeup brushes that I use basically every day. It was a pain to wash them out. I was using my old herbal essence shampoo to clean them, but it always irritated my face and didn’t really get the powder out very well. This shampoo does the trick. A little goes a long way, and it washes away the gunk quickly. It doesn’t leave behind any scent at all and my brushes feel almost new. I just wet them, add a small drizzle of this shampoo, and then agitate the bristles with my fingers. I rinse them well, squeeze the excess with a clean washcloth, finger fluff them and put them back in their jar. They’re dry by the next day. I’m really happy that I found this stuff. It makes washing my brushes feel simple, whereas before it was such a chore. I hope they keep making this stuff for quite a while.

Love this not too many suds. Works very well. No stron g smells. Brush bristles look great. Highly recommend

I had previously bought the beauty blender brand cleanser and was looking for something a little cheaper and found this stuff. I thought, it's worth a try. Can it really be that different from the more expensive brand? What I found is that, this works fine for eye shadow and small fluffy brushes, but once you start cleaning your blush and big powder brushes, you're going to be rewashing them several times to get them clean. And trying to wash a dense and compactly packed foundation brush with this stuff - forget it. The best way I can describe this cleanser is it's a surface cleaner. The consistency is thin and while it lathers, it just can't get deep enough into the bristles to clean them completely. It practically gives up on my foundation brush despite there still being loads of foundation packed into the middle. That's when I bust out what's left of the beauty blender brand. One wash after three attempts with this stuff and it's squeaky clean. You just can't beat it.

Wow! This is the first brush cleanser that I used that dissolves all the make up out in one pass. Every other time I've cleaned brushes with regular soap I'd have to swirl and swirl them, rinse and repeat several times. This gets most brushes completely clean in just a few swirls and one rinse. I put a dime-size on a silicone pad, wet the brush, swirl for about 15 seconds then rinse. My most clogged foundation brush took 2 swirls and rinses to get fully clean but overall this works better than anything I've ever used. It doesn't have a scent (or it's so light that I can't smell it) and brushes come out perfectly clean and soft with no lingering scent or residue. Will definitely keep buying this for sure.

Yes, this is a Holy Grail product, works like a charm and smells lovely. The brushes come out soft and as good as new (even if never cleaned before). I can only echo everybody else on this one. Buy it. Baby shampoo has got nothing on this one.
