The packaging is well thought out and it arrived undamaged even though the box had corner damage. Installation took about 90 minutes. It's a very clean look, latches easily, and works as expected. I had to adjust it once to keep it from leaking around the top of the tailgate. The margin of error between sealing the top of the tailgate and keeping the tailgate from opening automatically is slim. I would buy it again. It's worth the money.

Perfect fit on 2026 F-150 5.5-foot bed. It took about 1/2 hour to install. Clean look that fits inside of top bed rail.

The BAK BAKflip MX4 has been a great cover for the truck bed. It leaks a little bit in har rain but is very minor. I have been disappointed in Customer service, it arrived with a Broken buckle. I have reached out a couple times and have not heard back from BAK. You can not buy just the buckle you must buy a kit for $30.

This is a great truck bed cover. It's design is almost as good as it can be. The only complaint is the small water infiltration at the tail gate, but over all it is a well made.

I have had the MX4 cover since December 2021 when I took delivery of my 2022 F150. The first one got replaced under warranty in May 2024 due to being completely waterlogged and couldn’t be opened. I will give them props for the warranty, but the replacement/redesigned MX4 I received is a completely inferior product. They told me this was a new and improved design, but it was clear since realtruck took over Bakflip, cost cutting is their priority. The end caps break off easily. And worst of all the latches are much cheaper than Bakflip MX4 of years ago and these new ones freeze in cold weather. DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE UP NORTH. I am now going into my second winter with the most recent designed MX4 and it is constantly frozen. These tonneau covers aren’t even worth 1/4 the price that bakflip charges. Will not be buying another one when I buy my new truck next year. Junk.

This is my second BAKFlip hard cover. Had one on my GMC which was destroyed by a falling tree during a tornado passage. After replacing the vehicle I purchased this one from Amazon and installed myself on my new Ford. This one is better and lighter than the original model. Fairly water resistant, but water from a driving rain creeps in from the tailgate area and a little on the sides. If you are carrying something than should not get wet you might consider keeping a trap as extra protection as I do. The best thing about any type of cover for your truck bed, is that once the bed is covered whatever is under the cover is out of sight and out mind. So those tempted to "take what they see" is avoided. The advantage of a sectional hard cover vs a solid or soft cover is the ability to access the full bed easily and lock it closed when the tail gate is up. This cover I found easy to install by myself in about an 1.5 hours. Watch a video, once you figure out how to mount the rails and where to run the water drain tubes it is very easy. My other cover was on my GMC for 10 years and it held up so I am expecting this one to perform similarly.

This is the 4th BAK MX4 cover that I have purchased/installed on either my trucks or for family members. The trucks have been a 2015 Nissan Frontier, a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, a 2019 F-150 and this last one is a 2022 F-150. Up to this point I have been very happy with my BAK MX4 purchases. Unfortunately the quality and installation of this last bed cover for the 2022 F-150 has been quite unsatisfactory. Here are the issues I have had: 1. The bed rails do not sit square against the truck bed. This particular set of rails has a foam gasket that none of the other rails have and the combination of that gasket plus different clamps does not work. The rail pushes away from the bed at a downward angle making the latch mechanism unable to reach and actually latch. 2. The clamps are not as good as the ones that came with the cover we bought for the 2015 Nissan Frontier. I took one of those clamps off and tried it on my 2022 F-150 and that clamp did a better job of holding the bed cover rail to the truck bed. 3. The cover itself is substantially lighter and more flimsy than the cover on the Frontier. The new cover has way more flex to it when I set a case of bottled water on it when we're using the back of the truck. There is no way I will be able to use this cover the same way that I use the cover on the Frontier. I did contact BAK (RealTruck) and they sent me some shims to help with the leaning bed rail. Those may have helped a little, but the cover still does not latch down reliably. Nothing about this new cover feels 'solid' like the older ones. I am very disappointed with what has happened with this cover. Up to now I have been totally pleased and even recommended these bed covers to family and friends. I'm probably going to return this and search out a different brand as I feel that the drop in quality does not justify the current price.

Upgraded from the factory Ford trifold. This top is perfect. Fits excellent. Automatic tailgate opens and closes as it should with no interference. Had a major storm yesterday and the box was completely dry except for some water on the tail gate, which I expected. There is a small clearance at the tailgate to allow for the automatic tailgate release. You could adjust it closer if you need. I'm very satisfied. Looks so much better too.

Quick delivery, well packaged, no missing parts. Easy install. Looks great. Was deciding between the X4s and the M4 but I like that the M4 can be partially open. The X4s is either fully closed or fully opened. Very satisfied.

The product is not bad, however the rear corner caps are flying off easy. I lost them both. The website orders will not ship to Canada, but they are selling to Canadians here on Amazon. The website needs to be changed! I reached a nice person who sent me a pair of front and back cornel caps. I am going to glue them on!
