After every run i suffer with sore calves. Would these help???

Do I have to take the insoles that are already in my shoes out? Or just sit these on top?

If they are insoles that you have put in, take them out before putting the new insoles in, if the insoles are part of the manufactured shoe leave them in

I'm women's size eur 40. what should i get in the uk sizing?

I can’t know the really measure but uk are bigger size,maybe best way to go to shops and measure then you can buy online

Are these suitable for running?

Yes. I am a long distance runner and I bought these specifically for my running shoes, for arch support and a tiny bit of pronation support (I have a neutral gait and use neutral running shoes). I wear them for every run, up to marathon distance. They’re excellent. They don’t feel hard or uncomfortable at all. Hope that helps.
