Honestly shocked at how well it worked
Chamomile is so powerful. Works wonderfully. I was reluctant to use but my husband insisted and we noticed immediately she had relief. Wish they would seal the bottle not just the box. Everyone complaining about staining but it’s activated charcoal which is an active ingredient in neutralizing the stomach. It’s easy enough to be careful or get a towel. Soothes very well

I am a believer!
This is only my first day using this product and will update accordingly but I have had such positive results already I just had to share. My son is almost 4 months old and has gotten increasingly more difficult as he's gotten older. Very VERY gassy baby. Cries and writhes in pain on the regular. I've literally tried just about everything, change of diet (breast feeding), trying formula (milk allergy sensitive formulation), gas drops (4 brands), gripe water (this is the 3rd brand), tummy massage, heating pads, all the calming baby washes on the market, a new swing, I even resorted to sticking a device up my baby's bottom to relieve gas... Literally to see little to NO affect. Do you know how much money I've spent? A lot. But it would be worth it for just a moment of relief for my poor little dude. So after my last failed "miracle cure" didn't pan out I found myself browsing Amazon as I usually do at the wee hours of the night when my son is finally asleep. Looking, searching for that cure. That magical potion that will give him some relief. I was starting to believe I would never find it and I was going to just continue to suffer and cry with him day in and day out. THEN. Then the heavens opened up and showed me this product with all its glowing reviews. I thought WHY NOT I have tried everything else. What harm could it do. With not a ton of optimism I added it to my cart at 3 days later, today, I got it in the mail. Let me tell you about how my day went. It started as a typical day. My light and fussy sleeper awoke at 6 am thanks to his daddy's phone ringing. The crying and fussing began. This kid has a shriek you wouldn't believe and it is like insta-migraine inducing. I have 2 other kids so he is left to cry more often than I'd like, but hey my other kids have to eat too you know? So crying crying crying. Rock Rock, set down, crying some more. Stresssssssed out mom. All the usual things. Nursed him, burped him. Later I gave him a bottle. Burped him. Gas drops. More crying. Then 11:30 came around and the mail lady (or my guardian angel) drops off the package and I literally immediately tried it. I was perplexed by the black liquid, tasted it (as I always try out things on myself first) was surprised it tasted really good then in it went, into the fussy baby's mouth. He drank it up happily (thank goodness) and GUESS WHAT! ***Here's where the good stuff starts so if you've been skimming you want to start reading now. *** He was HAPPY!!!!! Like seriously instantaneously happy. Big huge grin on his face. I brought him out to his father and showed him how happy he was. He farted around with dad watering the flowers for 45 minutes then I took him, took my usual deep breath before nap time (because it's usually a battle) and laid down with him. I nursed him and HE FELL IMMEDIATELY ASLEEP!!!! What?! Who is this baby?! And you know what else? He didn't wake up when I moved! So he slept for a good 45 minutes and then woke up super happy and smiley. This was his entire afternoon. In the evening I dosed him again as a preemptive (at this point I'm still cautiously but happily skeptical) and just GUESS WHAT. I know, I keep making you guess what happened BUT IT IS JUST SO UNBELIEVABLE. He farted, burped, all that stuff that usually really pisses him off without any issue. Just did it like a normal person. But that's not even the best part. The best part. The part that made me have to write a review right now is this........ He laughed for the first time tonight. HE LAUGHED. Do you realize how huge that is?! My son was so comforted he was able to laugh when he wanted to. And it was a glorious sound. So at this moment in time, less than 12 hours from unboxing and using the product, I am a believer. I AM A BELIEVER. Could this seriously be it?! I realize this could all be a giant coincidence. That's the natural skeptic in me. BUT. At this moment in time I am a believer that I have finally found the holy grail of baby potions. I am so elated you really have no idea. Or maybe you do. Being screamed at by a tiny person for hours and hours for days and months on end does something really screwed up to one's head. I don't wish it on my worse enemies. So the thought of having something that might actually lessen the crying for even a moment is pure gold. BUY. THIS. PRODUCT. Just try it. I wish I had 3 months ago, I may have been able to enjoy my newborn had I used it then.

Don't know what I'd do without it. Wish I had found this with my first child.
All my babies get bad gas and get really upset and fussy and don't sleep too well because they wake up with gas. I discovered this with my third child, but due to the expense, I only used it very sparingly, so it didn't help much, but it gave relief when I used it. Now, with my 5th child, I decided it would be worth it if it gave my son relief. I have only used it mainly in the evening before bed so he gets a better night's sleep. When he was younger, like a few months old, he would get horrible bouts of gas every night and wake up a ton throughout the night fussing, sometimes every 10 minutes it would seem or anytime I put him down. I would give him colic calm and he would usually burp, fart, spit up, and poop within 10 minutes. Sometimes all of the above. It was crazy and he would be so much better. Someone had mentioned constipation, but with my babies, it had the opposite effect. They would go potty and feel better. I started giving it every night whether he would get fussy or not and he would have a much better night. I had tried (to save money) to only give it to him when he had a problem, but if he seemed to be doing fine and not gassy, inevitably he'd wake up throughout the night with gas and it was better to just give it to him before he had a problem rather than once he was in pain. It also makes him go to sleep. Sometimes when he's fussy and overtired and just won't go to sleep or wakes up every time I lay him down, if I give him colic calm, he goes to sleep within about 10 minutes typically and it's a life saver for me. Sometimes it's taken 2 back to back doses, but no more than that. If he's still fussy after a half hour, I give him another dose and it does the trick. I love that it's natural, or atleast mostly natural, and it works. Amazon seems to have the best price (at the moment) anywhere with their 2 pack. My son is now 5 months old and I've almost used 2 bottles, so it's worth it to me. He's a very happy baby overall!

Terrible
I wish I could give it 0 stars! We gave it to him at about 9 pm. I was very excited. I waited, I expected him to calm right down. but he didn't. He still fussed. I thought it was just taking him longer. After all sometimes these things don't always act as fast in all people. So we waited longer. Then, it was bed time. But still, he didn't calm. So we took to the exercise ball, and strapped on the baby carrier. And nothing. He was fussy and very jumpy. You've heard of restless leg syndrome... his legs were jumpy like that. For hours we walked, bounced on the ball, burped, snuggled, swapped out with daddy, laid under blankets, out of blankets, in the dark, in the living room,...while we were in bed I had him laying on my chest, and I thought to myself "god, its like he is having seizures!" I got really scared. I started watching him. His eyes were open, and he was jumpy, kinda shaky. I wasn't sure if he was awake or what. He has been known to fall asleep with his eyes open...but all the movement...it was odd. and he seemed to be in a lot of pain. He was crying. and moaning the whole time. and screaming. That started almost as soon as I gave him the colic calm. It was frightening. Because I was so sleepy myself it took me awhile to put the pieces together. I think he was in a great deal of pain and crying from the stuff, but had fallen asleep, and was having very vivid dreams, hence all the movement and eyes open. I finally decided to try to wake him up and give him a bath, to help sooth his tummy. It worked...while he was in the water. As soon as we pulled him out, he was screaming again. So, we got the tylenol, his old gripe water and the phazyme. I gave him a dose of tylenol, gripe water. I put all of these meds in a bottle nipple together and he just sucks it down at the same time. With in minutes he was feeling better. Which I guess means he didn't really need the tylenol, but, I wasn't sure what kind of pain he was in. Honestly, it was horrible. And to make matter more frightening, I had also given my older daughter some for her tummy! So as I am laying in bed with my baby on my chest, thinking he is having seizures, my head then turned to older daughter upstairs in her bed and what in the world is going on with her. All night long I had been hearing her cough, cough, cough...then nothing. My mind was at the worst case possible... I had dh go check on her. Happily she was fine. as soon as I am done typing this I am going to dump that crap down the drain. I hope to never ever see my baby or any ones baby suffer like that again. All natural does not mean all safe. My father is a physician assistant and my mother is a mental health RN, they have warned me about that many times. I am so mad at myself right now. All natural does not mean all safe....

Helped with gas pain!
This stuff is black and can be quite off-putting for people that don't realize how this stuff is different. I purchased this after realizing my poor baby had terrible gas and would writhe in pain to try and release it. I noticed that this gripe water, unlike all the others, had charcoal as a main ingredient. A few years back, I purchased some homeopathic charcoal pills for myself to combat the terrible gas pains I would get while flying (who knew? Flying gas is a thing). Anyway, they totally worked for myself. I figured it would be a good idea to try it on the bubs. This stuff did help. It dealt with his gas, for sure. Unfortunately for us, he had colic, as well. All I can tell you is that his gas pain was lessened. He, however, continued his colic crying up until 3 months. This is NOT a cure-all. Honestly, though, I'd ditch the simethicone drops (which I found out only made gas bubbles combine into larger bubbles which, HOPEFULLY, would be easier to pass orally- not even helping the gas that formed in the digestive tract). If you know your baby has a gas problem, use this stuff! Also, my son seemed to really enjoy the taste. He would be quiet for the few seconds it took to feed it to him, lol. This stuff can stain, though, and look absolutely shocking on a burp rag- so just beware. The price can be steep, too. It's definitely worth a try, though, if you're reading this at 3 am, surfing with a few free fingers while you juggle your screaming baby in your arms. Take a deep breath- it doesn't last forever- you WILL sleep again- get whatever help you can- and SOLDIER ON, parent! Much love and empathy to you. Being a parent is the hardest job you can ever have.

It Saved Our Life!
I purchased this product on a recommendation from my sister in law, who is so “organic” cautious that her family had sworn off meats, corn and anything that may have remote traces of byproduct. I figured that if she used it with her baby it must be safe. I read some reviews before buying this, which warned off purchasers regarding ingredients, such as chamomile, that may cause drowsiness. In my country we use chamomile water in vaporizers to create soothing sleepy time smell, so I did not think that was an issue. I must say this is the baby product I could have not gone without! It literally saved our lives! Subsequently, I tried so many other gripe waters, which were slightly cheaper, but nothing worked quite like this. Actually, I am not even sure anything else worked at all and I would compare the rest as simply sugar water. We used this product with our son well into the time he started teething. He loved the taste and we would sometimes just dip his binky into the gripe water before placing it is his mouth and he will instantaneously calm down from the sweetness of the water. This will be the first thing we packed when we traveled and I ended up ordering the next bottle before we had a chance to run out. I cannot even say whether I had a particularly colicky baby or not simply because I do not remember my son ever crying. We blame the peaceful nights to this magic concoction because I cannot imagine my son being just a calm baby, knowing how hyper and loud he is now at 10 months. I would say that the only drawback to this product really is the price. We are two working and relatively well-paid adults in our family, so I cannot imagine single moms or single income families being able to “splurge” on this magic potion. The only way we justified it is that buying one bottle of this worked better than buying 3 bottles of the cheaper varieties, which did not work at all. Moms, you should definitely try this product if you have never had! If it works for you (and it bought you few extra hours of sleep knowing you gave your baby totally natural product), then you get to pretend you are an awesome superwoman who can do everything effortlessly while other moms marvel your strength with jealousy!

Mix before using!
Bought this hoping it would work. I won't go into the details of our 10 week-old son's symptoms at the times we gave this product, or why we thought he was crying (GI-related vs unexplained, or in other words, colic), because I don't think that is relevant in terms of the way this product is marketed. Suffice to say, he wasn't interested in eating, nor was he consoled by swaddling, patting, talking, going into a dark room, rocking, or walking around. So we thought we would give this product a try. We tried it three times. Acutely, it stopped crying, for about 10 seconds while you are emptying the syringe into the mouth. Therefore, it really didn't work. It may actually work, but we'll never know, because I don't think our son ever got any of the active ingredients inside. Here's why: After the third time, we gave up and dumped the contents into the kitchen sink. Upon dumping it, after a brief surge of clear liquid, a bunch of black stuff came out. It was then that we realized that all of the active ingredients had settled to the bottom. We should have mixed it thoroughly beforehand. The directions do not indicate that mixing is recommended. I thought it was a solution so didn't worry when it came out of the package. We had been drawing up clear liquid into the syringe. Before dumping it, we tasted some of this clear liquid and it wasn't aromatic nor was it tasty. Based on the ingredients, we had probably been giving him water, citric acid, glycerin, maybe some aloe. MAKE SURE YOU MIX THE BOTTLE THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING!! P.S. What does work for our son are the 5 S's, as brought to the masses by Dr. Harvey Karp's Happiest Baby on the Block series (google it!).
