It not only stopped my 8 year old daughter from biting her nails, it helped strengthen them as well.My daughter picked up the nasty habit of biting her nails after we weaned her off the pacifier and sometime during pre-school. It was like heroin for her and no amount of talking or scolding helped. She was ashamed she could not stop and ashamed that her nails looked like ugly as hell. This was a HUGE problem.
