No. It’s like a jelly or jam. . Nothing whole or even parts of an apricot. I use it for filling for a cookie.

You do not have to add sugar as the filling is sweet enough.

Is this like the nectar that was sold a few years back for lemon cake recipe? Could it be used for that?

This is not the apricot nectar that was used years ago in the lemon cake. The nectar had the consistency of a thick juice. This Solo Apricot is more like a thick jam or preserves. It is excellent filling for use in kolanches and other pastries.
