It certainly could I’d put in a hit dryer, it’s a 70-30 blend of polyester & cotton so the cotton would tend to shrink more than the poly, I’d suggest letting it air dry after a quick spin in the washer. Poly dries very quickly. A note, I found that particular vest to be very uncomfortable, cut into my neck muscles when any weight was carried
