I love this cookbook. I have bought 3 copies so far, one for myself, one for my son and another for a friend that hasn't been able to get her pot out of the box. I have make a lot of these recipes and have not had any fails. Some of these are: 1. Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeat I regularly make this for my daughter and myself with the suggested added walnuts and we both think it is very tasty 2, Quick Zucchini Ratatouille I quite often use the cherry tomatoes that have been sitting in my fridge for a while 3. Braised cabbage with onion instead of bacon as part of my family is vegetarian 4. Root Vegetable Medley I have made this with other root vegetables as well so it is a good way to clean out your fridge. 5. Brown Butter and Asparagus Risotto I liked this better than Jeffrey Eisner's Lemon Asparagus Risotto 6. The soup recipes are outstanding and part of my regular meal planning, Creamy Cauliflower and Potato Soup, Thai Style Corn Chowder, Creamy Broccoli and Leek Soup 7. Tuscan Chicken Stew Sunday Pot Roast are excellent family meals 8. If you want to impress guest the Low Country Boil is great and Shrimp Scampi makes a romantic dinner for two 9. The Lime Cheesecake is also easy and tasty I have also bought her dessert cookbook and her second instant book cook. However this one is my favourite.

no pictures recipe book but I can understand why because you can create your own finished product without thinking yours are no as good as the book. easy to follow recipes with easy to find ingredients.
