Works well. Researched so many toasters and hard to choose one bc of all the mixed reviews. Glad we chose this one. Very durable. Easy to clean. The settings are accurate in my opinion. Toasts perfectly according to how you like it. I have tried every setting and they are all good. If one was not easy put it in for more time if needed with zero issues. Easy to clean and store (for me). Love the look of stainless steel even though you have to keep clean if finger prints bother you. Still a clean sleek look. worth the price. Durable and stable enough for countertop.

We absolutely love the look of this GE 4-slice toaster. It looks great on the counter, feels well made, and is easy to clean. The extra-wide slots are perfect for bagels, bread, waffles, and more, and the 7 shade settings make it easy to get the perfect toast exactly how you like it. Great quality and a kitchen essential we are very happy with!

This is a great toaster and has everything I was looking for. I am only giving it 4 stars as it does make a lot of noise/buzzing when using it. When it is just warming up, the buzzing is extremely loud. It only quiets down if you are doing multiple rounds of toasting. It does toast bread evenly, and doesn't seem to have as many hot spots as other toasters. I am very pleased with it and have been using it for 4 months now to toast my bread.

I purchased this in silver for myself, then bought this one for my daughter. She loves it, for months she called it her baby. It works great. We have had no problems. Very pretty for a toaster.

A terrific, inexpensive but very effective no frills toaster. If you just want good toasted bagels and bread, with nice slots to do both....look no further.

It's been 10 months since we bought it, and it's worked as well as advertised. Both controls time the same and toast the same, and the defrost button helps produce a darker (crispier) shade. The slot adjustment works well, but bagel halves still need a little push down. We've not used the "bagel toast" one side feature; it's not our thing.

The only reason it even gets a 3 is because it was relatively inexpensive and looks nice. Everything on it works okay but unfortunately it doesn’t toast the bread evenly. One side will be done and the other side will be noticeably “Less Done”.

Great looking toaster. Simple controls well laid out. When putting in a piece of bread, the sandwich basket holds it securely while it toasts. The reason for only 3 stars is the uneven toasting. One side of the bread is perfect, the other side is 2-3 shades darker. It doesn't matter what setting it's on. One side is always darker. And no, I do not have it on the bagel setting.
