Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Protector [Flexible Clear Film] Case Friendly Accessories

When we originally bought our phones, we were suckered into those $60 Zagg skins. The edges were rolled a little and not sitting flat, but Verizon said it was from our phone cases and the way the Edge phones were designed. They said not to worry and that Zagg's lifetime warranty would cover it when it got bad enough. A few months ago I contacted Zagg for our replacement skins and they refused to replace them because their warranty is void with "improper installation or the use of phone cases". Great.I picked two of these up because I thought even if they do not work, they are cheap enough to give a try. I installed them with the 1/2 tsp to one cup of water ratio recommended. Installation was incredibly easy. I installed with the phones off and let it sit for the recommended 3 hours before turning the phones back on. I waited an additional 18-hours (overnight) before putting the cases back on. No rolling on the edges even with the case on.The quality of the skin is just as great as Zagg. It feels tough and does not feel like it will scratch at all. We did not have any microbubbles or hazing after installation like the warnings said we might. The best part is the price. These are so much less expensive and the product is easy to install.We have only had them on our phones for a few days, but as I said, starting on day one with the Zagg's we were already having issues. No issues with the RinoGear. Plus, even if we did have issues and for some reason the RinoGear warranty did not apply, I could buy ten of these for the cost of one Zagg. I am an extremely happy customer and will be ordering RinoGear for all my products from now on!

Being honest, at the beginning I kind of hated this product, I thought it would work the same way as those Chinese glasses I was used to buying on eBay, where you just start in one corner and it kind of finishes by itself, and you might end up with a few air bubbles that would disappear in a few weeks.This product has a different process, I tried to do it the same ways as the Chinese glass, and I ended up with a mess. Even though I'd read the instructions, I didn't pay enough attention to it, and even became mad at it. The next day I received another one of this, I forgot I had ordered the same product for another phone, without putting this one first, so I said to myself I had to figure out how to put it. I read the instructions carefully and found out it wasn't even that hard and the results are way better than what you get with those Chinese glasses, it looks more crisp, without any blur whatsoever and it gives the screen an excellent protection. So it's not glass, it's more of a thick plastic, but for sure it's better than the glass, and I'm sure it'll last longer.Overall, you should definitely give this product a try, you already know those eBay Chinese glasses won't last more than a couple of months, on the phone I put this one on, it looks just as good after 7 months.

So far so good, for the most part. Easy peasy putting it on the phone. The soapy water application is fantastic! It made it so much easier since I was able to pull it off and start over as needed. I put it on just before bed so that it could set for close to 8 hours. I put my Otterbox on when I got up. It would work much better without the case on it, as the case has caused it to come up in a few spots, but with the curved edges I imagine that will happen with all the screen protectors while using a case. There are 2 tiny bubbles that aren't too bothersome. The material is thicker than ones I have used in the past. This is like vinyl so it feels a little different than what I am used to. I will update my review in a week or two, but as of now I would purchase this product again.

Fits better than the others I've used and hasn't had any issues with the edges being pushed up by the case. I put it on my daughter's phone 3 months ago and it still looks like it did the day I installed it. Patience is the key when putting one on. Follow the directions and work the process. I work in the industry so I have extensive experience with screen protectors. Plan on at least 20 minutes. Make sure you get rid of all the dust. Use a business card and brush the screen to make sure the dust is removed. Also wipe the new protector down before peeling off the back and exposing the adhesive. Most of the work will be stroking the edges, getting them to lay down and adhere properly. Once they do you're good! BE CAREFUL NOT TO STRETCH IT! Pressing too hard as you squeegee the water out will cause the protector to stretch, then the edges won't fit properly and they will begin to peel up. Take your time and this will be the best protection you can add to your phone!

Please do not buy!!!! this item does adhere to your phone even the round edges and that maybe because the shield is soft. But it looks tacky on the phone does not lay flat very well looks like saran wrap on my phone and my shield has the imprint of the little card on the screen saver that is in the box that you use to press the film on the phone. So disappointed my money is wasted and due to the screen protector being soft which i did not know THIS WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR SCREEN. I thought they had not put the screen protector in the box till I realized how thin it was and was pressed up in the box as if it was part of the box. I'm peeling this hot mess of my phone now...still no screen proctector :( uughhh. Rhinogear this is not a good product.

I ordered this screen protector because it was recommended for the Samsung S7 Edge. I was looking for a tempered glass screen protector, not a piece of clear vinyl. First, it was not at all easy to apply. When I tried to lift it to straighten it out, it seemed liked it stretched and lost a little of its shape and that's when it started to bubble. No matter how much I tried to smooth it out, it seemed like I was scratching it. Perhaps it was user error but I certainly did not like it. It reminded me of the film that comes on your cell phone when it is brand new.
