As a natural black woman with 3b/c hair, with multiple curl patterns, I genuinely only like to wear my hair straight, which can cause a lot of heat damage. After debating cutting my hair from a messed up chemical curl process, I decided to try one last thing before giving up completely, and starting over with a brand new head of hair. My keratin hair journey began on May 11 of 2023 and as I sit here today after bleaching four pieces of my hair, I am the happiest I haven’t been with my natural hair. Over the past several months, my hair has been able to retain heat & a silk press for WEEKS. I am no longer at the mercy of my blowouts. I wash my hair when I want to! It has grown exponentially. I have less breakage than I did before. It’s smooth. It’s soft. I feel like my hair actually retains the oils I put in it now. As I said, I love my hair and blend so great with clipins, I wear wigs less and everyone loves my hair when I style it. This is great for people who love straight hair !!! I am three treatments in, I’m trying to tell you, this has been a game changer, and a money saver!!!!!!! I had to come back and leave a review because I am thoroughly satisfied with my hair health & I’m thankful for this product line!

I like the results I get from using this smoothing kit. The directions are easy to follow and I can wash my hair the next day if need be from sweaty gym sessions after applying the kit versus others where you can't wash your hair for a few days so as not to ruin the results. The only downside is that if you have a lot of hair then you will need 2 kits to cover your entire hair. Now that I know it works for sure I will buy the larger bottle. The smell is actually nice and pleasant smelling without any of the chemicals smells.

My husband has been growing his hair out for the past 5 years. It’s a very personal journey for him. We used this treatment nearly 6 months ago. It did minimize frizz. But he LOST SO MUCH HAIR the first month. And 5.5 months later his hair smells!! We can smell it when it’s dry but it smells so strong when it’s wet- and it is NOT A GENTLE SMELL. Don’t waste your money or harm your hair!

It made my hair feel so soft. I have type 3b/c 4a hair and regularly straighten it so I needed something that would make my silk press withstand the humidity and this was perfect. It slightly loosened my curls but that wasn’t a problem for me as I always straighten my hair anyway. Only thing it recommended is to get 2 boxes if you have a lot of hair, this box was barely enough so I diluted it with water just so I could coat all of my hair.

This did not work for my 4C hair. After following the instructions, blow dry and straighten my hair, my hair was close to been silk however I wanted the wash off the residue chemical smell. As soon as water touched my hair, it reversed back to 4C texture. The instructions says it’s ready for washing immediately after the process but it didn’t work for me.

This is my first time using this product, I would not compare it to salon results - but it is also about $250 less. This has, however left my hair with an impossible to wash out stink that is driving me crazy! I will most likely not try this again because of the mediocre results and horrible long lasting smell. I have really long, curly/wavy semi coarse hair for reference. 1 kit was ample ingredients and I was able to do it myself with no help.
