Arteza woodless watercolor pencils
I love Arteza, they have amazing customer service. Great products at an affordable price. The pencils are deep vibrant colors and very easy to use. 10/10 I would recommend this set. I plan on purchasing again myself. My first painting with watercolors and I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier they are than acrylics. And as I said Arteza is heads and shoulders above the rest with customer service. I purchase a lot of product from them and I’m very satisfied with everything. Super fun kit to use, I love it!

Ok for the money
Pros: reasonable price, good variety of colors, very pigmented compared to non-brand WC pencils. Got these on prime day and were delivered really fast. The water pen is ok, didn’t leak water but hard to press. Didn’t test paper at the time of review. They worked better with my regular brush and water compared to the included water pen.Cons: They had a strong chemical/solvent smell when opened that lasted about a day. Also, all pencils had a white residue on the tips but was able to sharpen it away. Not as pigmented and easy to activate compared to my winsor &newton or Derwent WC pencils, but for the price, they are not bad. They are fragile and will break if dropped. I will not recommend these for little kids, but older kids or adults, they are fine as first/beginner watercolor pencils.

Nice set and good value.
I got this set with the frames because it cost less then the WC Pencils alone. I feel like I got a good deal. What I want to use WC Pencils for; to do quick sketches on the go and to use them as under drawing on a watercolor painting that will dissolve and not leave pencil marks.Likes; These are decent watercolor pencils that dissolve well when water is applied.Fun to use as they are not precious or costly. These really resolve well in water.Dislikes; The non reusable plastic package!Thats about it for dislikes, these are by no means as good as Faber Castell, but they function well for what I want and I am pleased with how they behave.

Love these, just buy it!
This is my last review for Amazon, they want too much access to my storage, so this picture I drew with the woodless pencils I received in this set. I'm impressed that they were so smooth going onto my paper, like a warmed up crayons, they never dug into my paper, I didn't have to repeat strokes and they're so vibrant and rich when I applied water I can't say enough good things. I actually bought this set for the canvas like paper but haven't used it yet, it's todays project but there won't be another post. Definitely buy this set!

Amazing watercolor pencils!
I bought this set to do watercolors techniques on hand painted cards, and I had never used watercolor pencils before, I had always used pan paint, most recently the komorebi paints which are amazing! and these are very nice, they sharpen fantastic for those fine lines and blend nicely with both paintbrush and waterbrush pens, the only thing i did not like about this set was the pad.of paper that folded into small canvases, it said for watercolor but it does not lend well to watercolor, however pen and liquid inks do a fantastic job on the "canvas" paper. i just cut my watercolor paintings to fit on the canvas and mounted the painting on top, so win win in all.

Very nice but definitely breakable
Got this for my 7 yr old daughter for Christmas. She loves them but 3 of them have broken. They are breakable and dont know how to sharpen them.

Highly-pigmented color, smooth and fun to color!
I ended up chucking my old ones that were not as pigmented as these as they were taking up space. I'm sure that there are better ones on the market, but for the price, these were fantastic. Because they are woodless, I recommend placing them flat on a tray so they don't roll off and break as they clank like glass when handling them in a bunch. Not recommended for kids because they will drop them.

Present for artist
Got this as a gift for a anime artist and she just loves them. All you have to do is draw, use a water brush and draw over again if you want it darker or need more shading. Really good product for artist. Beginning and professionals alike.

Geschmackssache
