Cutter made it so deburring wasn't needed allowing for quicker bending cutting and building

I’ll post an update post build, but so far this is a very exciting, high quality kit. Solid aluminum blocks for bending. I’ve already used the cutter and it works perfectly. Don’t delay; you’ll be glad you did it.

This was my first water cooled build. after shopping around for different kits, the Thermaltake seemed to be the best value. I looked at alpha cools kits which the top of the line kit was impressive but at over $200 just not worth it to me. The quality of the thermaltake kit is great and gives you the tools you need for hard tube bending. I imagine this kit will last me many years and allow me to build many more water cooled rigs now that i am addicted to it :P

I am currently working through building my first loop, like almost everyone that is probably looking at purchasing this product. I spent a few hours looking at different tool sets ranging from $20 to upwards of $100. I eventually chose this one and I'm completely satisfied with my choice. The toolset works great, especially the tube cutting tool, and it has made working with hard tubing (16mm) not so bad. Now that I am going through the build process, it is hit or miss whether I actually use the bending dyes to make the angles. Sometimes, I find it is almost easier just to get a good bend doing it by hand. Nonetheless, if you want to use the pre-cast angles, the tool works great as long as you get the tubing hot enough. I am using the Thermaltake PETG V-Tubler 16mm tubing and I find it is very forgiving … when I mess up, I am often able to just bend the tube back to straight without ruining or distorting the piece and then I try again. TLDR of this review: spend the little bit of extra money compared to other sets and get yourself a nice set of tools such as this. You have already invested a ton of money in a custom loop and this will just make the whole process that much easier rather than fudging around with cheap cutters and other cheap tools.

Pleasantly surprised. Very well crafted tools with a decent weight to the solid all aluminum mandrels. These aren't cheep composite hard plastic mandrels that feel awkward while using. These should last pretty much forever - that makes me happy, and well worth the investment in decent tools for building custom PC with liquid cooling.

I recently dived into my first custom-loop cooling kit, and picked up this bending kit because I had a need for the PETG hard-tube cutter (I own a PVC pipe cutter, but wasn't sure if it would be too strong, it probably would've been fine) and templates for making perfect bends. The kit comes with what you need to make perfect bends and the pipe cutter is high quality. The templates are weighty and have a solid feel. You could always jig up your angles and bends with wood, but getting this kit is just easier. It does seem a bit expensive, but a burr tool will run you $20 - $30, the pipe cutter $15 - $40, and I have no idea about the templates but when all is said and done there is a lot that comes in the box, it is competively pricedm but a bit above what I'd consider "value."

You may think "Oh this is expensive, I will just use the EK or Corsair bending kit" and while I agree I prefer EK's rectangular 90-degree and 45-degree bender, I promise you this cutter is a godsend. Please save yourself the hours of hassle trying to get a straight cut with the saws that EK or Corsair give you. This kit is all you need and is what you should get. If you're thinking "Well I have all my water cooling stuff, now I just need to get tools" GET THIS But I have to agree 80 bucks for all this stuff is really expensive but you just spent 100 Bucks on a radiator and another 100 on a waterblock, this thing pays for itself by saving your time 10 fold.

this kit cost a good bit more than the others i looked at but wow when i compared it ot another chepar one i bought i never even used the other. The cutting tool is really solid as is the bending tool. and inule the cheaper kits silicon insert actualy fits the tubing correctly. use this kit its damn good.

It was extremely useful for my build. Saved heaps of time. Good quality tools.

This is a great tube bending kit. A must have for doing hard tube watercooling. Really solid construction and will last a lifetime of hard tube builds! The silicone insert is firm and easy to push into the tubes. If you are using acrylic tube the pipe cutting tool will not work as acrylic is too brittle and will end up cracking and breaking. For PETG the tube cutter will work great. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone getting into hard tube watercooling.
