It took a bit of trial & error to get used to how we will use them. Tacked up, with/without cups, city driving/highway driving, etc. They are dark and 100% work to block the sun. The magnets are solid, they do not release when the window is rolled down a bit. No, you cannot see the mirror. You have to tack them back a bit, but you will still be fully shaded. We decided against the suction cups completely. There was no way to make them work up front. We bought the rear window sets also. They stay tacked in place. No kids. Passengers don't mind them. End of story. Highly recommend.

This might be my favorite thing I’ve bought on Amazon. I was using removable stick on UV blocking films meant for back car windows, but visibility fair and they weren’t large enough for driver’s side of my 2014 Mazda CX-5. I don’t bother with the suction cups on these because the magnets keep it in place and it covers 90% of the window! Visibility is fine and when the sun goes down you can slide it like a curtain out of the way without fully removing it. Amazing!!

This shade is working good for me as a removable shade to reduce the direct heat load on my body. I'm giving it a 4 because of the magnet strength. Pros > Reduces the direct heat load from the sun (Houston has been scorching and this shade keeps my left arm from burnig while driving) > Relatively easy to install, after the 1st time...lol > Fits my Ford Edge window > The suction cups keeps the bottom out of your way when driving Cons > The small magnets will NOT hold if your car has a manufacturer's covering/molding on the door frame. In other words, the metal is not exposed. (See ** below) > The view of the side rear view mirror is affected, so use extra when looking thru the shade to make maneuvers > This Cons is because of my addition. The stronger magnets makes installing take about 1 minute longer than without them. ** Overall this is a good buy. ** I purchased and added a stronger rectangular magnet to the shade; see pic. Alas, the mesh was far too long and narrow to fit my rear window properly. The grommets for the suction cups were too low and well below the window (and they won't stick to textured pleather. I will say, the magnets were strong enough to stick to the inside of the car door which had rubber weather stripping, so that was good. But in the end, it's going back...

Waste of money you can’t drive with it. What’s the point?

Got these on a rainy cloudy day but hoping this helps block some sun when driving and keep car cooler in the coming summer months. They fit my 2016 Mazda 6 well. They’re very sheer so you’ll be able to see well while driving. I only got the front 2 to see if I’d like them so I’ll probably end up buying two for back/side windows as well.

I purchased two styles — the in-channel version and this exterior stick-on version that adheres to the outside door frame. These did not fit properly, and even after trimming them to fit, the adhesive did not hold well. Unfortunately, these were a fail. I ended up installing the in-channel style instead and they were a win-win. Much better fit and worked great.
