Top snapped off of pumper in less than 1 month. Waste of $.

Dim Bulb
Well I guess I missed the key word "Vacuum". This device sucks the air out of the bottle. Not being a wine expert I expect that a vacuum in the wine bottle is good for the wine. It was fun when I tried to use the device on a large plastic bottle of soda and the plastic was being crushed. That was just the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted to put pressure into the bottle to preserve the carbonation. So since it was my fault I misunderstood the word vacuum I give it a neutral 3 stars. I never claim to be the brightest bulb.

Don't buy
I was broke when it arrived. Cheap material. Don't buy.

Need to be gentle with it...
Pump handle pulls off if you are not careful...It's a force fit but had to glue mine back on to secure it...It works as listed but needs gentle pulls to stay secure...
